Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2014
Didn't change a thing, loved it as it is. Stuff I always have on hand, so easy and really good flavor.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2013
Followed exactly (minus the cayenne pepper because I'm a wimp :) and thought it was excellent. Really good flavor, wonderful blend of seasonings.

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
Really good! Like something you would get at Olive Garden or Carrabba's. Made it as-is except substituted half and half for heavy cream because I didn't have any, and probably doubled the Parmesan cheese 'cuz we like our cheese!

Grands!® Easy Taco Melts

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
Not gourmet by any means, but I was looking for something fast and easy to use some ground beef and an aging can of Grands biscuits I had. My picky son who can count on one hand the foods he'll eat could not get enough of these! I added about 1/2 packet of taco seasoning and topped them with sour cream. Thumbs up!

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
Wow. I thought this was going to be ho-hum- boy was I wrong. I don't normally change anything the first time I make a recipe. I made an exception here by leaving out the 1/2 cup butter in the filling just to cut down on the saturated fat (I did drizzle some over the bread crumbs). Per other reviewers' advice, I also used 2.5 lbs of potatoes. Other than those 2 things I stuck to the recipe and it was amazing. I truly don't think you'll miss the butter as this recipe is already savory- this is what I would call comfort food.

Kelsey's Cheesy Bacon Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Followed recipe as written, except didn't pre-cook the chicken and added green onions and chopped tomatoes toward the end of baking. Reminds me of my favorite dish at Chili's! Very good and super easy.

Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
Used recipe exactly but wound up adding an additional 2 cups of broth as the tortellini absorbed much of the initial broth and left it not-so-soupy. Excellent recipe!

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
I, personally liked this dish. However, my husband didn't like the "white stuff" in it, and once by two boys heard the words "cream cheese and sour cream", they stopped eating, too. My husband suggested using ricotta or cottage cheese. I will probably try that next time.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
Really, really good meatloaf! I heard several audible "mmmmmmm"s from the hubby, and my 7 year old son, who rarely eats dinner, ate every bite. That speaks volumes! I didn't change a thing- if you're going to make a bunch of changes, I say just submit your own recipe.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
Awesome! Other than pizza and hot dogs, this is the only thing my 7 year old will eat for dinner. When my husband and my kids both like it, it must be good. I don't usually make changes, but for this recipe I do substitute french fried onions for the cereal.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Probably the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had. Didn't change a thing. I agree that they are best when slightly underdone.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
Very good! Although without a specific salt measurement, it's easy to make it too salty. It might take a few times to figure out the right amount of salt.
