Clark Bars

My 16yr old son had to make cookies for his chemisty class for homework, I told him about this recipe and he wanted to make them as there is really no cooking involved. He got an A+ and most of the other kids though they where store bought.

Scalloped Corn and Broccoli

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
I didn't have enough time to cook it in the oven for the hour the recipe called for so I cooked it in the microwave. I would cook it for 5 min. intervals and after 5 min. & 10min. I stirred it. I cooked it for a total of 25 min. It set up nicely, however all my family agreed it was way to sweet. If I make it again I will eliminate the sugar and increase the cheese to 1 cup. Other wise it is a simple dish to prepare.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
Flavor was good, I used skinless, boneless thighs instead of chicken breast as my family prefers thighs. I also used all the suggestions - added a can of diced tomatoes, 1/4 c. wine, more seasoning and a can of tomato paste, doubled the amount of mushrooms as my family loves them and there never seems to be enough in most recipes, still came out really soupy however which was very dissapointing since I did add the additional can of tomato paste, I did drain the diced tomatoes before adding them also.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
I used the conversion tool and changed it to 6 servings and used Italian bread crumbs. My whole family enjoyed but suggested next time that I use thighs and more mushrooms as everyone only had a bit more than 2 tablespoons each of the mushrooms after they cooked down. I think I will also add some onions too.
