Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
THE BEST THING TO DO WITH THESE RIGHT BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN THE OVEN IS TO MIX 2TBL MELTED BUTTER with 1.5TBL CONFECTIONER SUGAR THEN LIBERALLY SPREAD OVER TOP OF ROLLS. trust me, it's devine! The butter melts into the bread and the sugar makes a flaky, sweet layer. Best thing ever!

Dutch Potato Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
I don't really like stuffing, but I tried this recipe because it's potato based and I loved it! It still tastes like stuffing, just different. I had to tweek the recipe because I stuffed a chicken with it instead of a huge turkey. Yummy!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
Like many other reviews, i cahnged the water to beef broth, but kept everything else the same. The roast was fabulous and I added cornstarch to the liquid toward the end of the cylce. IT WAS THE BEST BROWN GRAVY I'VE EVER HAD!!! I served it with mashed baby reds (peels included!).

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I loved this recipe! It was tasty, although I recommend doing the egg wash again and re-breading it. Much better. Also instead of tomato sauce, i recommend putting a high quality marinara over it. Yum!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
This was a dang good recipe! Just like the restaurant. I used home-made alfredo sauce as the base. We used the home made fococcia bread to dip with. Tasty!

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Pretty Tasty recipe. I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had, but it was good and super easy to prepare! I would strongly recommend lining the bottom of the crockpot with foil so the loaf doesn't stick to the pot and makes cleanup a breeze!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
I made this recipe and I used the deepest dish I could find to bake it in. There was just too many layers. It didn't fit and boiled over. The taste was okay. 3 1/2 stars. Not the best ever, but definately not the worst. The only thing that was really sad for me, I am breastfeeding and whatever was in it made my baby have super bad acid reflux after the nursing!

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
This recipe was good. I have actually made this twice. The first time, I followed the directions exactly exept for I don't have a bread machine. I used my stand mixer. Let me tell you, HUGE MISTAKE! It made a mess everywhere. The bagels tasted good but were flat and they didn't float in the water. The second time I made this, I mixed everything by hand which worked GREAT! I sifted the flour (and even put in 1/2 wheat) and after reading reviews, let raise for 2 hours prior to boiling. Viola! Near perfect bagels! And my two toddlers have been eating them like crazy!

Poppy Seed Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
These were pretty darn tasty. I don't really think the topping really helped all that much. I agree with other reviewers that the batter should be super lumpy when baked. it should look like you have marbles in there.

This was a great recipe!Of course, we had to add the Costco bacon bits to this recipe to make it better.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
I'm giving this recipe only 3 stars. I made the recipe exactly as stated. The only difference was i used homemade raspberry seeded jam. The chops were really good fried with the seasonings. 5 stars there. However, the sauce was as tasty as what I was hoping for. 2 stars there. So I compromise with 3 stars

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
I thought this recipe was okay. I dredged the chicken in flour like everybody suggested. I definately don't think it should be the main dish. I think the sauce should be used as a substitution for store bought teryaki sauce.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
I love this recipe. Coming right out of the bread machine, the dough isn't tacky or anything. the only thing that was a little bit more difficult was that the dough was really elastic and I had a harder time rolling it out, but it still turns out great. I would recommend doubling the frosting though. Thank you for changing my family's breakfast! Oh, and it's been great for my pregnancy cravings!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
To say the least, I'm VERY dissapointed with this recipe. I think I would have perferred my family recipe of: Beef Patties with brown gravy and mushrooms over the top. It would be more tasty. This didn't taste anything like the salisbury steak you invision when cooking it.
