Eatine for Two!
About this Cook
I'm a mother with 3 kids (still pregnant with the 3rd). I've been married for 4 years and have been cooking since I was around 10 years old.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook comfort food. I don't do course meals, but I enjoy making a nice presentation.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really don't have any family cooking traditions. My parents, sad to say, cooked out of boxes and cans. Now that I am a mother, I try to cook mostly from scratch to keep my kids from eating additives and perservatives. In a way, I'm drastically changing my own eating habbits along the way.
My cooking triumphs
I have to say I don't have specific truimphs, but I love taking a recipe given and changing it to my own and passing it along.
My cooking tragedies
I think the thing I deslike about cooking a nice presentation is that you can spend hours perparing a delicious meal that can disappear (sometimes without gratitude) in just minutes.

Poppy Seed Muffins
These were pretty darn tasty. I don't really think the topping really helped all that much. I agree with other reviewers that the batter should be super lumpy when baked. it should look like you have marbles in there.

Sweet Dinner Rolls
THE BEST THING TO DO WITH THESE RIGHT BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN THE OVEN IS TO MIX 2TBL MELTED BUTTER with 1.5TBL CONFECTIONER SUGAR THEN LIBERALLY SPREAD OVER TOP OF ROLLS. trust me, it's devine! The butter melts into the bread and the sugar makes a flaky, sweet layer. Best thing ever!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan
I loved this recipe! It was tasty, although I recommend doing the egg wash again and re-breading it. Much better. Also instead of tomato sauce, i recommend putting a high quality marinara over it. Yum!
