Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 26, 2012
LOVE this recipe!!!!! I quadrupled the sauce and put half in a ziploc bag with the cut up chicken pieces and half in a ziploc bag with red peppers, onions and pineapple. I marinated everything for about 9 hours. I drained the sauce off the veggies and saved it to baste the kabobs with while on the grill. I soaked the kabob sticks for a while (though not long enough) then alternated chicken, fruit and veggies on the sticks. I put the kabobs on the grill (next time I'll turn the heat down a bit before putting them on) but left the sticks hanging out of the grill. Once they were finished cooking I put a piece of aluminum foil under them so they would keep warm but not char too much. That's when I basted them with the extra sauce. They were to die for!!! I can't wait to make them again!!!!!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe!!! I make it at least once a week. It is so quick and easy and makes and awesome meal! I used butter instead of olive oil and I used almost a cup of corn flakes and 1/2 a cup of parmesan cheese. I cut the chicken breasts into strips. Serve with rice/quinoa and LOTS of broccoli! YUM!!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
SO GOOD!!! I used leftover ham from Easter and whatever veggies I had; corn, celery, carrots, onion and potatoes. I also added leftover mashed potatoes which thickened it nicely. Loved it and it was so easy to make!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
This is a really good meatloaf! I used the brown sugar and ketchup on the bottom of the pan and on top of the meatloaf. I think the meatloaf itself needs a bit more flavor. I tried adding some ketchup/brown sugar and garlic to the meatloaf but it still didn't have much flavor.

Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
I'm so excited to find this fabulous smoothie!!! I've been looking for something quick/healthy and filling to make for breakfast. And something I felt good about letting my 2 year old son have. We used frozen bananas, organic (no sugar added) peanut butter, rice milk (my son has a dairy sensitivity), a drizzle of honey, a few slices of apple and a spoonful of flaxseed. SOOOOOOO YUMMY!!! I will definitely be making this for breakfast until I get sick of it. I'm also really excited to try adding some oats to it. Thanks so much for this awesome recipe!!!

We just made waffles for dinner and I didn't want to serve the store brand maple syrup we had. This was absolutely wonderful! So simple to make and it tastes fabulous! And I love that it's so versatile! Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, boysenberries etc! YUM!

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
I just finished making these and serving them for dinner. I used about 2.5 pounds of ground turkey, 3 eggs, 1 cup of milk and about 1 1/4 c. of seasoned bread crumbs. I omitted the salt and onion because the breadcrumbs were really flavorful, but now I wish I had put more seasoning in the meatballs. They were pretty bland. I tripled the sauce. I served it over rice. We have a TON of meatballs left over that my husband is excited to take to work! I'll definitely add this into our dinner rotation!

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
LOVED these!! I followed the recipe exactly except for leaving out a little nutmeg (I probably used 1 1/4 tsp.) since I saw another reviewer thought there was too much. I think it would have been fine with the full amount. These are dense like a donut hole and I LOVE that! I only had two though because they are SWEET! But I think my husband eat 10. =) I will definitely make these again!

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I had to make a few changes since I was out of some things and we are literally snowed in. I used brown rice (not instant) cooked in chicken broth. And threw in some pieces of left over rotisserie chicken. I made my own cream of chicken soup (I normally do this anyway: 3 tbsp. butter and one chicken bouillon cube melted over medium heat. Add 3 tbsp. of flour and 1/4 water. Add enough fat free milk to give it a soup-y consistency). I left out the 1/4 c. butter since there was already 6 tbsp of butter in the soup. I used a little over 1/2 c. of mozzarella cheese and 4 crumbled slices of american cheese. I topped it off with a few crushed up Wheat Thins. VERY GOOD!! My husband loved it and I really didn't think he would! My two year old son also enjoyed it! I will definitely be making this again!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

PHENOMENAL!!!! My family absolutely loves this and so do I! I usually quadruple the recipe and use about 7-10 chicken breasts. I don't change any of the ingredients though. Just throw it all in the crock pot for 7 hours or so and you have a fantastic meal! We eat it on tortillas with spanish rice. TO DIE FOR!

Honey Ginger Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Absolutely delicious! I have been making this so much lately. I reduced the red pepper flakes to a tsp though, a tbsp is WAY too hot! And I left out the onion so it would be quicker. I took the advice of another reviewer and added a bit of coconut milk, if that had been in the recipe, I would have rated this a 5 (more like 500!!). Served on top of rice you just can't go wrong. I'm going to try it with the coconut lime rice on AR.
