Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

I have made this recipe many times and I think it is a keeper. The longer I have used it I have made it my own, I add a packet of chicken broth to the water (which takes care of the blandness IMO) and sprinkle a little black pepper while the chicken cooks. I have also found that I can use breasts with the bone. I figured I would be shredding the chicken anyway, what is a little bone.

Puppy Chow

For all you parents who want to save $$$ on snack food this is definately a keeper. I have yet to come across a child who does not love this snack. My son (and husband) gobble it up each time I make it.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

I love eating this stew. I must say, that if you don't like your stew thick and meaty, this not be the stew for you. It does not come out soupy, when you follow this receipe to a T. I would say that if you want this a little bit more soupy add a 1/4 cup of more liquid.

Prime Rib

OMG! Like many others I too made this for Christmas dinner. So tender so succulent. My husband raved about this and if you use the drippings to make a sauce yummy yummy. Good with horseradish sauce or without. I stongly suggest that if you go the uncovered route to make sure your oven is clean, due to the fact intense heat may make your oven smoke out. This recipe goes great with the Make Ahead potatoes found on this site.

Grilled Chicken Quesadillas

This is a great recipe for leftover chicken. I found it a little too bland for my taste but did add additional spices the second time to my own tastes. This is a great recipe if you do buffet type meals or want something that doesn't take a lot of thought.

Anniversary Chicken I

I found this recipe OK. The flavoring just didn't do it for me. I would try it again, but my family found it interesting. I would try this again but I would modify it based on some of the suggestions from past reviewers.

Sweet and Gooey Chicken Wings

I made this for a birthday party. Unfortunately the recipe was neither sweet or gooey, the soy taste was very overpowering. I would make it again for me and my husband, but I didn't find this recipe company worthy.

Wild Mushroom Stuffing

Based on looks alone I give this recipe 5 stars. My husband said it looked so professional, he loved the taste and couldn't get enough of it. Also I made this at Thanksgiving time and egg bread was very very scarce around here, I ended up using butter egg rolls and cut them up, this recipe still tasted great.

Yellow Squash Casserole

The first time I made recipe it was a little water on the bottom and the top wasn't as butter as I thought it would be. The second time aroun it was beautiful, I melted the butter instead and poured it over the top it turned out gorgous and tasted great.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

I am not a big fan of mashed potatoes. They never taste right--but I love this recipe! I wan't into the make ahead thing, but after making this recipe I don't think I would hesitate to try it. I love the way the potatoes tasted! My husband couldn't get enough helpings! This is very rich, so I would suggest if you are not serving a lot of people to scale the recipe down so you don't end up with a lot of leftovers.

Easy Punch

I made this as paort of my Thanksgiving menu. I wasn't too sure of it because my husband isn't a big fan of pineapples. I gave him a small tester glass of a batch I made and he drank the entire batch I made that night. I will be using this recipe again for my son's 2nd birthday party and maybe even Christmas. Definitely a keeper!

Barbecued Beef

What can I say that hasn't been said before. This is the best recipe I have have found in my life! I also had a thicken agent to the gravy, I found it too water. We eat this on special occasions, and there are never ever any leftovers. If you can withstand the temptation, make a day ahead and let it sit, the longer it sits the better it tastes. Mouthwatering!

Baked Ziti I

I only used one jar of sauce and I used smoked provolone. It was delicious, I agree with using a deeper casserole dish since 8x12 does not hold the entire meal
