Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
we cannot eat dairy, grains, or sugar so I followed another's advise and replaced the rice with quinoa and milk with unsweetened almond milk. I also replaced the sugar with 1/4 cup xylitol and 9 drops of stevia clear liquid. It was wonderful and very healthy for us! love it when we can adapt a great recipe to be healthier. yum....

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
I had to make some changes due to diet issues and I don't use unbleached flours. It was really good. Kids loved it. I did change the apples and thinly sliced them instead of chopping. Gave it more apple flavor. A keeper.

Chicken Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
very good recipe, especially because there is no "soup" involved. I did find it, like others, bland. It really needs more salt or something. Will make again.

Jewish Style Sweet and Sour Brisket

YUM! Used palm sugar in place of brown sugar (lower glycemic)and cider vinegar in place of white. It was great! Sauce got a little too thick towards the end. Yummy recipe.

This was not bad, but I would rather use soy in place of Teriyake sauce.
