Pasta with Scallops, Zucchini, and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
This was very flavorfull. I did add 1/4 c. of white wine at the end, when simmering, a few more extra garlic cloves. Also added shrimp that I cut up, and it was great. Will definetely make this one again. We do a dinner exchange on Friday nights, so I will serve it for everyone then.

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
Oh, My, Gosh. That was the best and easyest chicken I have done yet. The flavors melt in your mouth. Simple but complimentary. Didn't change anything except for marinating it for most of the day, because I had to work and preped it early. I usually don't like barbque, because it always gets dried out, but not this one. It was very moist and tender. Will take this to the river and the desert trips.

Zippy Summer Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
It had a real nice kick to it. We loved it and friends even ate the left overs the next night and devoured it and rant and raved about it. I only had the medium frozen shrimp on hand, so I used them. Will try the raw ones next time. It was quick and easy to make. The only thing I did is make extra sauce to it to make it go a little farther over pasta. Some butter, flour and milk, with chicken bouillon for flavor, to whatever thickness you want. Just made it a little creamier. Will make again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
I cooked it for guest and everyone ate it all up. This one is a keeper. I did double the sauce, add poultry seosoning and a clove of fresh garlic. Used frozen organic vegies, removed the celery, and did the deep dish pie shells. Loved it.

Everyone loved it. Took other ratings and made sure I didn't over cook it. Used Burgandy wine, and green onions and mushrooms on top. Easy to make, will definitely make again.

Made it for Easter. Everyone loved it. Only cooked it 10 min. Also put the cheese on the last 5 min. Added some garlic, for us garlic lovers. Will make again.

Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
I usually like more saucy stuff on my salmon, but like everyone else said, this was a very good compliment to good salmon. I did squeeze extra lemon on top, plus added a little sherry since I didn't have plain dry white wine. Even my husband loved it, that is hard to please. Will make again. Marcie

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
My husband wasn't to thrilled when I said I was cooking this. It was like eating at a gourmet restaraunt at our own home. I didn't have rasberry jelly, so I used the seedless blackberry, and red wine vinegar, and it turned out scrumptious. Will make this one on a regular basis. Marcie

Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
Fantastic. My husband and I splurged on the good Salmon at Costco. I did double the sauce, because we love sauce. I also added some soy sauce to it like someone else suggested. Just a dash. I did broil it, and that made the sauce like candy on top. My husband that doesn't eat much fish, sure gobbled it down. Will pass this one along. Marcie

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
I have made this recipe quite a few times. I love mayo, so I didn't change anything except for adding 2 cloves of chopped garlic. Used the marinated artichokes, drained, and my picky, mayo hating husband gobbled it up. Will pass this recipe onto many people. Marcie

Crab Quiche I

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
It was a hit at the river house and at work. My husband doesn't like quiche, but he ate this one up. Followed the advise on some of the other reviews and put 3 eggs, 2 6oz cans of crab,2-3 cloves of garlic, hot sauce, cayenne to taste. But I neede my veggies, so I shredded zuccini which my husband could hardly tell, and a little of the old bay seasoning. We couln't gobble it up fast enough. I made 2 of them, and shared and everyone wanted the recipe.Marcie

Shrimp Etouffee II

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
My husband was intent on doing the same old frozen stir fry w/shrimp. My family does not like trying new things, but I do and I talked him into it. I did put the ingredients in a pan instead of the microwave, in fear of the frozen/thawed shrimp becoming rubbery. Followed the recipe except for kicking it up a few notches by doubling the ceyenne and chili. Then adding cajun spices to taste, and some milk to thin the sauce out a little. Definetly will cook this again, and my husband loved it, which is the worlds pickiest eater.

Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
My family and I just loved this recipe. I took other reviewers advice and added 4 cloves of minced garlic, cheese on each layer, and topped it off with parmasean cheese and parsley. I gave some to the neighbors husband, and he called to say, "that it was a sin to cook that good". We have been using this recipe regularly, and will never use scallops in a box again. Thank You, Marcie
