This was very good. I made as stated for a veggie lo mein recipe, but next time I will add some flavorings to the dough. As another review stated, I also had to add quite a bit more water than it said to. Probably because of where I live, it is very dry. Oh, I ran this through my new KitchenAid pasta roller and angel hair pasta cutter and it worked perfectly!

Apple Crunch a la Mode

The Crunch Topping was really good although it could have used more cinnamon. I thought about adding more, but didn't and wish I had. It said to slice the apples thin, so I did and they turned out like applesauce. I baked it for the exact amount of time that recipe indicated. I probably will make this again, but will add quite a bit more cinnamon to the crunch and also to the syrup.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

OMG! This was a huge hit at our party! I felt a little guilty serving it, as it was soooo easy, but EVERYONE wanted the recipe. I did use Smuckers Hot Fudge topping (two jars) instead of chocolate syrup. Just my preference. One note, you really need a pretty deep pan to make this. I used the deepest 9 x 13 pan I had, but still had to kind of squish down the I/C sandwiches. If you have a lasagna pan, that would probably be perfect.

Pork Stew in Green Salsa (Guisado de Puerco con Tomatillos)

Yummmmo!! This was awesome! I made it exactly as instructed and it turned out amazing. Used the meat mixture for burro filling, then used the sauce to put over the top, with some shredded cheese and baked it just long enough to melt the cheese. mmmmm . . . good!

Fluffy Pancakes

These were really good. Made exactly like the instructions and they turned out excellent, well, except the person that I let actually cook them, burned them a little bit. But that's nothing to do with the recipe. hehehe

Sausage Pasta

This was really good. My husband doesn't like tomatoes, so I didn't use them, but did add mushrooms, bell pepper and zucchini. Other than the vegetable substitutions, I made it as written and it was delicious.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Grandma Johnson's Scones

These were awesome! Insead of raisins, I added fresh raspberries and white chocolate chunks, as well as drizzling a powdered sugar, milk and vanilla glaze on top. Will definitely make again. Oh, and I made these at 7,700 ft. elevation while at a family reunion, and don't usually have good luck baking at that elevation and they turned out awesome! Very pleased. :)

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies
