Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
This is so good!! I didn't bother with the sesame seeds. I cubed the chicken up rather than shredded. I added some snow pea pods and water chestnuts, this would go well with a lot of different additions. The flavor is so good. I think it's okay cold but I also warmed it in the microwave and prefer it warm. Thanks for the recipe!!

Microwave Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
Great taste and idea! 4 stars because 10 minutes was too long...I don't know if my microwave has extra power or something!, but my apples were mush after 9 minutes. I wish I would have checked them earlier.

Wow! Perfect for the cold day that it is today in Michigan!I followed the recipe as is and didn't change anything, oh, except I didn't use celery because I didn't have any. I topped my bowl of soup with a nice handful of shredded cheddar cheese- perfect!!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
There are some additions I'd like to try with this dip (like cilantro, corn, black beans, etc.), but I have to rate it as 5 because of all the compliments I got on it! I was worried how it would work out in the 13 x 9 dish, but it worked out just fine. I used Pace Chunky Salsa and it didn't make the dish watery at all. The guacamole added a nice zing to it. Great dish!

Strawberry Refrigerator Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Loved this cake! I made it twice in one week for two events because it was so good! The strawberry cake is so refreshing with the frosting- and I used the cheesecake pudding as recommended by other users with 1.5 cups of milk. A great dessert for summer!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
These turned out amazing just like all the other reviews claim. I followed the recipe exactly except I used all butter instead of shortening. I baked them for 9 minutes and at first I was nervous they weren't done, but after 10-15 minutes of cooling and setting, they were perfect. Great with a glass of milk!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
I made this for brunch this morning and it was a hit! I got lots of compliments and was told it is definitely a keeper! The only thing I did differently is I didn't use a ton of Parmesan Cheese on top...I just sprinkled it lightly. I used Ore Ida Potatoes O'Brien which has onions, green and red peppers. Very very good!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
This was my first time making sweet potato pie and it was very very good. I made it for a party and everyone that tried it loved IT and wanted seconds (I made two pies!). I followed the recipe exactly except I used 1/2 brown sugar as suggested. I also added a pinch of cloves and ginger and someone totally asked if I'd added those two items because they could taste them- very good! A must try.
