not a fan of the "gloopy" texture but the taste is good

total waste of ingredients-way too sticky. I did not care for the taste and texture of the cookie. Do yourself a favor and read the negative reviews first.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

me and my family really enjoyed these cookies. I did add a little extra flour, pb and oats. Still came out a little flat but not completely. I used one stick of butter and one stick of marg. Good change of pace!

Sweet Mustard Dip

We love this with hard (bar) cheese! We also only boil for 4 minutes-no need for a thermometer.

Candied Kielbasa

We tried half smoked sausage and half kielbasa-we actually preferred the smoked sausage; went better with the sauce. We did bake it and I think it turned out great!

Zucchini Brownies

I followed the recipe and mine were cakey. The taste was good but it was more like chocolate cake with frosting than brownies.

Lemon Poke Cake II

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
I myself thought the cake was good-nothing exceptional though. No one ate one piece of it at a picnic-I believe because it looks terrible on top. I tried to cover it up with 10X but the glaze soaks it up. To put anything else on top would just take away from the simplicity of the recipe.

Cream of Coconut Cake

the cakes fell apart-thankfully the frosting glued everything back together. I did not use cream cheese frosting-used buttercream which we all liked.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

sorry-they were as flat as a pancake and the aftertaste was nasty. Followed directions to a T. Now I have flat, square cookies to take to a picnic. Oh, and I used brand new, freshly opened b. soda and cream of tarter.

No Bake Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
I used a 6 oz graham shell and the cream cheese mixture filled it level with the top of the crust. I also used regular sugar and it was fine. Will definitely make again with different toppings.

Taco Dip

I used 2 cans and it was still too much beans for our tastes. I would suggest adding cream cheese to the sour cream and at least a cup of salsa-you could barely taste it.

Peanut Butter Frosting

these are the proportions we like! 2 Cups of 10x leaves this with an unappetizing taste and texture. Perfect exactly as written! Buttercream frosting has 4 cups so why is this too sweet?

Aunt Mary's Vanilla Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
I'm not so sure she copied the directions correctly. This looks exactly like a cooked icing recipe I use. First, you cook the flour and milk (1 cup instead of a 1/2) till it thickens completely like pudding. Let it cool. Then mix your shortening, butter and sugar (mine uses 1 c of regular sugar) for 5-10 minutes. Add the flour mixture and vanilla and beat.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2007
Excellent pound cake! I used 2 cups of sugar, only 1/2 tea. of almond extract and 2 1/2 cups all purp. flour. I read somewhere that for pound cakes you need to beat your butter and sugar for 10-15 minutes. I did and I really think that's the key to a light texture. I baked mine in a bundt pan (and 2 mini loaf pans) for about 50 minutes. Everyone loved it!

too spicy for our tastes-next time I will replace one or both of the cans of tom.w/chilies with just regular diced canned tomatoes. The toppings make this soup!
