Baked Maryland Lump Crab Cakes
Ok I have lived in MD for over 15 years now and have always used the Old Bay recipe or the recipe on the container of crab. This recipe is AWESOME and totally blows those recipes away. Not so much filler and just enough seasoning. This tastes just like the crab cakes at certain restuarants that are famous for their crab cakes (and costs so much less and I know what's in them!!). I am to a point now where I just don't even bother ordering crab cakes outside of MD - they just aren't the same!! If you are looking for real Maryland crab cakes, look no further (and splurge for the jumbo lump crab - definitely worth it)!

Pasta e Fagioli I
I made this on Sunday after a very cold and rainy weekend. It was delicious but I did make a few changes/additions which made it even better. I added carrots, zuchinni and yellow squash since I had them on hand and I wanted to add some more veggies to this. I used vegetable broth instead of chicken broth and used fresh basil instead of dry. I topped it with some grated parmesean cheese. I would have loved some foccacia bread with it but didn't have the time to make it. It was really quite delicious and perfect for the miserable weather we had!

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup
Delicious! I made this with hot italian sausage and the spice really added a nice warming kick to this soup. I made this with Michael's easy foccacia bread also from this site (another reviewer recommended it) and it was a fantastic and satisfying dinner. Highly recommend.
