Molasses Carob Chip Cookies

Very good flavor but too crumbly. They didn't seem dry but just wouldn't stay together. The only thing I changed was the carob chips. I used 1/2 cup choc chips and 1/2 cup dried cherries.

Pasta Shells with Portobello Mushrooms and Asparagus in Boursin Sauce

Very good and I will now use this for other vegetables too. I added the broth until it was a consistency I liked, but did not use all of it. The mushrooms gave off a lot of water while cooking.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

These were so much better than when I steam them. Much more flavor. I received a lot of compliments at Christmas dinner. I actually ran out. 1.5 pounds did not go far. We did have to pick off a few of the outer leaves because they became crispy when blackened.

Roasted Red Pepper and Potato Soup

I followed the recipe as is and this soup was okay. Tastes like what it is - butter, milk and chicken broth, very thin. I think it would be better pureed with red pepper flakes and maybe some instant baby reds mashed potatoes added.

I followed the recipe to a T and what some called custard seemed slimy and mushy to me. Maybe it was the glass baking pan. I will stick to rhubarb breads.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

The breading on this was like skin and very greasy. I even cooked it longer to see if it would crisp up and it did not. Seems like all the people who loved this recipe changed it. I thought the 4.5 stars was for this actual recipe.
