Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2015
Excellent marinade! I do not drink beer so I subbed a Chardonnay wine. I marinated it overnight. Very flavorful. It is a keeper!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
Excellent recipe. Loved how they didn't spread too much yet didn't stay in a ball either. They were soft and moist. My husband and grand kids gobbled them up! I used a number 2 size cookie scoop and baked them 12 minutes.

Marzetti® Italian Penne Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2012
Amazing! I rubbed olive oil on the chicken, seasoned it with basil, oregano and garlic powder then grilled the chicken. I do not like feta so I grated some mozzarella and provolone and shook in some grated Parmesan cheese when mixing it all together. Everyone loved it.

Amaretto Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
We made these on Christmas Eve. My daughter swirled chocolate sauce at the rim of the glass inside and let it run down before I poured the drink in. It looked so pretty! I added a bit more than called for of the amaretto. Very yummy!

Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
Yummy! After looking at all the veggie burger recipes on this site I chose this one because of the ratings and all the veggies. I have to admit that they were hard to work with, but I sprinkled the flour on a cookie sheet pakced the mix in a 1/2 c. measure and plopped it on the sheet. I sprinkled that with flour and pressed it out with my hands. Worked fine. I did add some cilantro, my favorite.

Taco Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I left off the black olives because I didn't have them and I added a little shredded lettuce. I would cut back on the cumin a bit, it was a bit strong. Otherwise it was great. I brought it to a picnic and every bit of it was gone and I heard people asking who brought it they wanted the recipe.

Easy Lemon Bars for Junior Chefs

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I use to make this exact recipe years ago and lost it. I could never remember the size of pie filling or how long to bake. It also had been so long I couldn't remember for sure if there was a third ingredient. I was so happy to find it. It is great when you frost it with a cream cheese frosting. I use to get raving reviews when I made it. Any cream cheese recipe will do.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
Fabulous! I made this recipe for a baby shower and we served it in croissants. What a hit. I did leave out the green pepper because too many don't like green pepper. I added four green onions and used turkey. It was yummy and I could hear people all over the room commenting how good it was. I had doubled the recipe and a little bit more. Easy to make.

Petite Sausage Quiches

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
I made several batches of these little quiches for a gift opening brunch. I made them ahead of time and put them in the freezer. The day before I took them out put them in the fridge. The morning everyone was due to come, I put them covered under tinfoil in a 300 degree oven for about 15 minutes. They turned out just fine. They got raving reviews. Oh, and in each batch I did a different meat.

Simple Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
I have made this recipe twice now. The first time was for my daughters grad. open house and I quadrupled the recipe. The recipe is easy and inexpensive to make. Each time I have made it I have been asked for the recipe. My family likes it because they want a Mexican rice without a bunch of veggies in it!

Chicken and Spinach Alfredo Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2008
This recipe was delicious! I did cheat and buy an already roasted chicken from the grocery store to save some time. It was easy to put together and it tasted wonderful. The company I had had another type of alfredo lasagna before, but thought this one was better.
