Homemade Refrigerator Pickles

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Delicious and EASY!!! Perfect for using up the few cucumbers I couldn't pickle and can. Thanks for sharing this great recipe; per other's advice, I also increased sugar/vinegar amounts as I also like more brine. Packed the cucumbers in quart jars, and after sitting over night they reduced to around a pint!

Delicious! I marinated them the night before as others suggested and used turkey bacon to cut back on some of the grease. They were eaten up immediately! Just wonderful- thanks for sharing this great treat! :-)

Delicious! It was a bit salty for my taste so I'll use reduced sodium cream of mushroom soup next time. Everyone loved this one - thanks so much for sharing!!

Fried Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
I made REDLASS46's refrigerator pickles back in the early fall to use up cucumbers from the garden, so I used those for this recipe. Delicious! I added garlic salt and lots of black pepper after reading other reviews, and double dipped/battered each pickle before frying. I served them with ranch dressing. They were a huge hit at our super bowl party; thanks for sharing!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
DELICIOUS! I followed KingsHorses pumpkin change below, and thanks to Katmani's advice about spreading them out. I made the pumpkin with raisins and then 2 small empire apples chopped with lots of cinnamon. They made a lot though (YAY!) so later I hope to try mixing cranberries & orange juice, and toss nuts in too. Thank you for a PHENOMENAL recipe!!

Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Wonderful! I used venison instead and salted/heavily peppered it while browning, along with adding garlic and dried minced onion. Also used dehydrated carrots to the mix and used 6 c. water total. After browning the meat I let it simmer in the crock pot for a few hours- fabulous! Thanks for sharing! :)

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
This is THE best lasagna recipe, hands down! My husband loves it over his mothers, and that was good! :) The only change I made was to use more cheese- I doubled the ricotta/parsley amount and put a whole pound of freshly shredded mozzarella on top. Absolutely divine! Be prepared for the epic food coma afterwards :)
