Country Green Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
BRAVO!!! My picky 5 y.o. daughter asked for thirds. My 1 year old ate about 10 beans. I did take prior suggestions of chicken broth. I also used my cast iron skillet to saute the onion, garlic and ham in the butter. Once the onions were translucent I added the beans. I cooked the beans for about 4 minutes, stirring about every 30 - 40 secs to coat with the butter mixture. Then I added the mixture to 1/4 of chicken broth. The best beans ever.

Garlic Alfredo Tilapia

WOW what a great combination. I used McCormicks seafood seasoning instead of Creole spices, but it was still fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
This was heavenly. My mother-in-law thought it was fantastic. She said it tasted like the one she use to make when my husband was little. My husband was also very excited. He said it tastes like my mom's dip.

Dry Ranch Style Seasoning for Dip or Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I need to eat gluten free so it is nice that it has NO MSG. I added a little more parsley and garlic/salt grinder. Next time I may take someone elses advice and add some dill and cut back on the seasoned salt. I will make this again.

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
I thought it was a very easy recipe. I made it gluten free by substituting 2T potato flakes for the flour. The roux was just a little thicker. In the future, I will NOT add the basil or thyme. I did not like the flavor with the potatoes.

Ribboned Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
I made this for my husband on Father's Day. He really enjoyed it. I used a dark chocolate cake and it worked great. It was a rich dessert, exactly the way he likes it.

Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
Wow what a great meal. It cooked a lot faster than expected but everything turned out great. One thing I did was add a 1/2 a can of coke and one Fuji apple so that the sauerkraut was not too bitter. It made the meat moist and tender. I will definately make it again.
