Hearty Multigrain Bread

Had doubts about this bread as the dough is very stiff. Made it without a bread machine and had to give the first rise 1 1/2 to 2 hrs before shaping and letting rise again. Did not have millet or quinoa so subbed poppyseed and amaranth. Turned out with a lovely texture and nice shape. Excellent multigrain bread that you can change to your liking. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Traditional Whole Wheat Bread

Excellent sandwich bread. Mild in taste, good texture, not too dense, moist. I may try brown sugar next time for the taste but wonderful recipe as written. Thanks for sharing!

Tasty, buttery and easy to make. We found they tasted much like snickerdoodles without the need to shape each one. Used pecans since it was all we had - very good. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Homemade Pancake Syrup

Certainly as good as - or better than - any store bought syrup. Easy to make. We still like pure maple syrup the best but this was a yummy & quick substitute in a pinch. Thanks for the recipe!

Fluffy Pancakes

GREAT! Did have to thin the batter with a little extra milk but the whole family agreed they were fluffy and tasted great. Super recipe! No more box mix for us.

Southern Chicken Salad

Best Ever Corn Muffins

These were very sweet and cakey. The kids loved them. I did decrease the sugar to 7 Tbs and increased the corn meal to 1/2 cup with a decrease in the baking mix by 1/4 cup but they were still not enough like corn bread for me. Will likely make again just because the kids liked them and they are easy. May tweak some more,though. Thanks!

Banana Muffins II

Great texture - I only had two large bananas. Takes well to substituting some whole wheat flour. Added cinnamon, nutmeg and a little vanilla. These won the "keeper" recipe status in our house.

Wacky Cake II

This is so easy and turns out moist but not too heavy. Ingredients are on hand and so I make this at the last minute when we have an urge for something chocolate. It is small so it does not last long. (I do not ice this cake so I cannot rate the icing) Stands on its own.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Super easy and who knew that canned broth would create such a great base for soup?! The family loves it and it was made even easier by using a rotisserie chicken from the grocery. Thanks for sharing!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Really good and the whole family loved it. Easy and chicken was tender and nicely glazed. I also put the chicken in with all the glaze from the beginning and basted and flipped the chicken a few times during cooking. Also, decreased the oven temp to 375. This will definitely be made again!

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Morning Glory Muffins I

REALLY good with great texture and taste.Did change the sugar to use only one cup and half of that was brown sugar. Did not have enough apple butter so I made up the deficit with applesauce. Forgot the topping but tasty anyway! Will certainly make again.

Excellent! Served to a crowd and they all loved it. The only thing I changed was to add a can of petite diced tomatoes (to lengthen it) and a can of vegetable broth toward the end so it was not quite so thick. Will definetly make again. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Sauteed Apples

This was very good and I just used the apples I had on hand (gala and fuji). Will make this with both dinner and breakfast/brunch meals. Today I mixed some in with my oatmeal and it was very good. Recommend this recipe!
