Ali's Amazing Bruschetta

Delicious. I brushed the bread with olive oil and sprinkled with parmesean cheese and toasted in the oven. I also added garlic and balsamic vinegar to the tomato mixture.

Chicken Tortellini Soup With Zucchini and Tomatoes

Quick, easy, and tasty. I used 2.5 chicken boullion cubes in 12 cups of water and added 1 lb cooked cubed chicken and 3 sliced carrots.

Oven Baked Zucchini Fries

Tasty and easy to make. I used olive oil and plain bread crumbs with Italian seasoning and oregano. We dipped them in ketchup and honey.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Very different from what I expected but delicious and easy. It almost had a cornbread like flavor. My husband even asked if there was cornmeal in it. I did let it sit for 20 min before baking as suggested by another reviewer

This was delicious! I added 1 can diced tomatoes and a little bit of garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and pepper. 4/29/14 - Made it again with the same additions ... still tasty, but not quite 5 stars.

Gingerbread Waffles

These were pretty good. I used 1 egg, 1 cup normal flour, and 1/4 cup brown sugar. This was the first time we used our waffle maker so I think I just need to figure out how to make them crisper.

Holiday Peppermint Bark

I made this recipe multiple times last year with both white chocolate morsels and almond bark and both tasted good. I also added 1 T of oil to make it creamy and 1/2 tsp of mint extract for extra flavor.

Chicken With Mushrooms

Delicious! I sauteed the mushrooms in olive oil first and also added a can of cream of mushroom to the chicken broth. Next time I would add even more mushrooms!

Stir-Fried Pumpkin

This was definitely different than anything we have ever made before and although it wasn't my favorite we still finished it off. We did use a "normal" halloween pumpkin instead of one of the cooking pumpkins which might have thrown off the flavor a bit.
