A good starter recipe- but it took 2 large eggs to 1 cup of flour to make the dough. And I don't bother to let them dry before cooking; I throw into boiling broth right away and they're great.

This is my go-to monster cookie recipe. Though, I never measure the goodies added and change it up depending on what I have in my cupboards. Easy & delicious!

The only change I made to the recipe itself, and this is not extreme, was adding about 1 tablespoon of lemon zest to the cake batter. Fantastic and lemony confection-as it should be. Great recipe!

It's passable. I was dissapointed that the cookie/brownie layer didn't have more flavor to it. I followed the recipe exactly, though used the method of partially cooking each layer to asure doneness. Likely will not make this again as it was a lot of work for less than mediocre flavor. I do have some co-workers that like it. And maybe I'll hope that it gets better after a few days of sitting on my counter. ?

My fiance made this for supper one night. He followed the recipe exactly as it states (although we had to get creative with how we stuffed the chops and we broiled instead of grilled)and it was WONDERFUL!! These are by far the best pork chops I have ever had. They were so good, we made them again that same week. :-) This will definitely be a recipe we use again and again and again. Thanks!

It has always been my pet peeve when people give a recipe a rating/review based on changes they made to it. However, I'm guilty as well. I had to change this recipe because my fiance requested "MEAT!"--so I added chopped chicken breast meat to the bacon in the skillet. Also, I used Italian seasoned canned diced tomatoes--which I am glad I did. The dish was "ok" that night, but lacked real flavor. However it was VERY yummy the next day when I took it to work for lunch. I think that overnight in the fridge actually made this dish BETTER. I will more than likely make this dish again--however---using the changes I made.
