I did not have lemon pepper and the only bacon I had was already cooked. So, I saled and peppered the chicken and browned in a little oil. When the chicken was browned, I removed it from the skillet and added the onions, crumbled, cooked bacon and brown sugar and cooked on low. I cut the chicken up into bite size pieces and put back into the skillet, and cooked on low for about 10 to 15 minutes. This tasted sooooo good that I never even added the cheese. I'm not sure it would have been as good with the cheese.
