Orzo with Tomato and Fried Tofu

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
This was really good after I made some adjustments :) I added in about 20-25 sliced olives and some crushed red pepper and it really kicked it up a notch :) I ate it for dinner and lunch the next day! Really tasty and not the typical tofu taste either!

This came out fabulous!! The chicken was so moist and flavorful...I will definately make this again but add more sesame seeds, I loved the way they tasted with the chicken..I couldn't get enough :)

Balsamic Tortellini

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This was very good..but I couldn't find pancetta bacon so I used regular...but I don't think I used enough...I will make this again but with more bacon even though that will add to the fattiness of the dish :(

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I am so happy to have found this recipe! A friend of mine used to make this for all of our school parties where we had to bring in something to eat and I haven't been able to find the recipe until I stumbled across it on this site :) P.S. My boyfriend is addicted to it!!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This was excellent!! I have never made a cheesecake before and I was really proud at how good it came out! I will definately make this again :) Also, I followed all the tips (like with the water in the pan and foil around the bottom), used seedless rasberry jam instead of real rasberries to save time and made an Oreo crust...you maybe need about 15 cookies to cover the bottom nicely.

Baked Tofu Spinach Wrap

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This was freakin' good!! I only gave it 4 stars because I cound't find baked tofu in the grocery so I made it myself...it took a little longer but it came out really well...I used a marinade of about 1/8 c. of Soy Sauce and 1 tsp. of Sesame Oil brushed on the sliced pieces and then baked for 30-40 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Oh and if you use a damp paper towel on the bottom while microwaving it makes the tortilla stay soft :)

Bread Salad with Tofu

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I have recently discovered tofu and have been looking for recipes to try with it. I made baked tofu last night and didn't want to cook for dinner tonight and came across this recipe. I added in the baked tofu with the rest of the ingredients but felt it was lacking...so I added some minced garlic, and more balsalmic vinegar, tomatoes and spinach to make it a meal! It was really great and I was surprised!!

BBQ Chili Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This recipe was different to say the least. My boyfriend hated it but we saved it by adding some feta cheese. We ate it for 2 days because it made so much I think it would make more like 8 servings. I think I won't make this again but if I did I would use about a cup of feta and leave out the corn.

Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
I tried to go a little healthier and chose this recipe; I wasn't impressed. It was ok but lacked the "umph" of flavor I think greek food has. It smelled so good when I was cooking it but the taste fell short. Maybe it can be saved with some olives?

Baked Shrimp with Feta and Tomato

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
This was really good! I used rice pilaf instead of orzo b/c my grocery store doesn't carry it. I think it was really flavorful but next time I will use fresh tomatoes as someone suggested and more feta. I don't think I used enough and it wouldn't brown on the top. But overall this recipe was very tasty!

Angel's Ravioli Alfredo with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
This recipe was ok...I think I used ravioli that were a little too big. I ended up cutting them in quarters and they didn't taste done even after bioling them for over 20 minutes! The sauce came out good though. Next time I will try smaller ravioli and hope it comes out better.

Herbed Chicken and Fettuccini

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This was super easy and oh-so-yummy!! Way better than Olive Garden...though I took the advice of another reviewer and added about a tablespoon of Italian seasoning, I think it made it extra fabulous. My boyfriend even took the left overs to work the next day and said everyone was jealous of his food :)
