Fresh Rhubarb Pie

Disappointed - found it much to sweet for my taste. I have another recipe that calls for a dash of salt and only 1 and a quarter cups of sugar. I think that works better for me. Happy I tried it though!

Roasted Grapes and Carrots

I made this with green grapes instead of red, shallots instead of red onions, and regular carrots instead of baby carrots. Didn't really like it, but I realize the original recipe is quite different so I'll give it a 3 star rating.

Excellent as is, or make it a red sauce by adding about a 1/4 cup of tomato sauce. Either way, a great recipe that everyone enjoys at home.

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Based on suggestions, I added a bit of corriander, ground cashews instead of cornstarch and ground fenugreek seeds. I used milk instead of yogurt and half and half, as I didn't have those ingredients. It turned out absolutely fabulous. I will make this again and again. Thanks for this great and easy recipe.

Krazy Garlic Trout

Excellent. I didn't have jalapeno so I used a spray of tabasco. Also added a dash of vegetable seasoning and kept the garlic whole instead of mincing. A tip: instead of juicing the lemon, slice it and stuff halved slices inside the fish with the other stuff. Remember to spray with lemon on the outside too. YUM.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

This was my first ever meringue and I have to say I was quite proud. My only comments are that it "wept" which was a shame, and I think I would have preferred it a little more lemony. But this was probably due to my inexperience. Will make again!

Gary's Stuffed Mushrooms

Really excellent. First time making them. My modifications were: no crab, didn't have any, and instead of using chicken mix stuff I used bread crumbs mixed with a dash of seasoning for grilled vegetables on each mushroom. I also garnished with a little bit of green onion as I had no red pepper. THanks for sharing this recipe. Fiancé loved it!
