I have never eaten rice pudding before this recipe, and honestly didn't think I would like it. I just wanted to use up the extra rice from yesterdays dinner. But, after eating this delicious treat, I am making extra rice everytime I make it just so I can have an excuse to make this! Just make sure you make it with whole milk. I made is twice. Once with whole milk and once with fat free milk. The one with whole milk was rich and creamy and just perfect. Not so much for the fat free milk one. Follow this recipe to a tee, and sprinke some cinnamon on it, and you got heaven in a bowl.
