Cool Whipped Frosting

Use real whip cream instead of cool whip....it tastes much better. I add a stabilizer and it is wonderful....

Grandma Elaine's Unstuffed Sweet and Sour Cabbage

Having had mediocre cabbage rolls this past weekend, I was craving something good. This was delicious! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it took a while. But, it was worth it. The stew was very flavorful, so much so that my 4 year old says he likes cabbage now!

just made these.....took the advice of a PP and instead of melting the butter, just soften it. they didn't flatten. we're eating them as we speak! delicious!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I like the taste of this cookie....its soft and cakey. BUT. I've made this cookie twice now, and I think I have a handle on the stickiness of the dough, but I can't figure out how to handle the spreading of the dough in the oven. I would throw them all in the fridge and freezer to cool them down and I still can't get them to retain their shape. I was just using a little heart. The first time was a flour. Nothing too intricate. It seems the minute I take the dough out of the freezer it starts to soften rather quickly. I tried a little more flour too. Nothing is really helping. I don't want to give up on this yummy cookie!
