Insane Oven Beef Ribs

I think my cookie sheet was to big. My sauce didn't come out as thick and I know I measured right. So the sauce just spread across the baking sheet. Next time I would double the sauce recipe. Definitely needs the flour to thicken the sauce. Good flavor. We thought we could add bbq sauce for the last 10 minutes of baking time or some ketchup to the sauce to thicken.

London Broil II

Marinated the london broil for 48 hours. I did use olive oil and a splash of white wine vinegar as someone suggested. Great marinade. We are going to try it on a tri-tip too. I made additional sauce to use to reheat the piece we had left over. Yummy!

Marinade for Steak I

This was absolutely delicious! Bought cheap steak and this marinade made it taste like I was dining at a steakhouse! Yummmmm! Made no changes to the recipe. Served it with sauted mushrooms (butter, onions, garlic, shrooms) and Bobby Flays grilled corn off the cob a sauted with lime, butter, peppers.

Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops

This is so yummy! I grew up eating pork chops cooked under the broiler with lots of salt and pepper. I love them that way. But this recipe has such great flavor and gives me a chance to use the fresh rosemary from my garden. We've had it a couple of times now. Great flavor and so easy!

Potato and Bacon Salad

Didn't have parsley or celery, but made anyway. It was a hit at a family bbq. Delicious flavor. Only had 1 tablespoon of dijon, so I used 1 tbls of regular mustard. Everyone liked it. Will definitely make again.

Savory Baked Eggs

I wanted to make quiche, but didn't have any milk, so I started looking up egg recipes on allrecipes.com. Found this! I always read reviews before I start any recipes on this website. Found that people didn't like the bread crumbs much. I sauted three small bell peppers (yellow, orange and red) and onion in a skillet. I like to get the edges a little browned. Removed from skillet. Then I micro'd a potato an grated it. Put that in the skillet with a little bit of butter to brown one side. In the meantime, I broke the eggs over the pepper/onion mixture. No stirring (yay!). I also browned some thick ham slides and cut up into little squares. On top of eggs, I put a layer of ham, then a layer of grated cheddar (1 cup), then a layer of the hash browns (brown side down). Stuck it in the oven as recipe called out. After 15 minutes I stuck in a toothpick. Runny. Cooked 10 more minutes. The flavor was fantastic. My husband loved them. I will definitely make again. When my mom visits, I will not put cheese and potatos on a quarter of this so she can eat it. She's on dialysis and notable to eat potatoes or cheese. I'll definitely add this to my list of yummy breakfasts. Great to make for a buffet and serve with a side of fresh fruit.

Spicy Italian Salad

I served this at a all girl's party. All my friends raved about it (Yes, I have great friends!). I couldn't believe it. I've been trying to learn to cook more new things, so it was very satisfying when everyone asked for the recipe. I used cherry tomatoes and a yellow bellpepper. Also used white wine vinegar because I couldn't find tarragon vinegar. I didn't add black olives. Draining the artichoke hearts is a great idea. LOVED THIS RECIPE!
