Black Bean Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
This was pretty good. only added 2 cups ck stock and was a good thickness. If made really thick it would make a good chip dip if mixed with cream cheese.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
This recipe is amazing. I didn't change a thing. It's so close to the recipe I use, but the addition of the pudding mix holds the cookie together and keeps it really soft. So good!

Sausage Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
My husband just about did flips for these. I used mini muffin pans like others did. I just used 1lb sausage w/my seasonings, 1 block cream cheese, and one tube of cresent rolls. Made 24. Will probably do again. Were good in a pinch.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
This recipe is a 5 as is. Here's how I do it. I only add a couple of things. I mix all the spices (including the extra) in a coffee grinder. Then I mix everything in the food processor. Here's another option: Instead of using all sugar I make a mixture of 2 cups total of sugar, pwd sugar and brown sugar. I like the added dimension it gives. I use both water and milk to make it. then I strain it through cheesecloth to get out all the chunks. Even though I process the spices to pieces They still don't disolve. I also use the spice mix and put it in biscotti for a chai biscotti.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
This was yummy. I used an 8 inch square pyrex dish and filled it up with 3 layers. It only took 1/2 hour to bubble up. I used 2% motz cheese and lowfat cream cheese. Next time I'll use different noodles and no fat cream cheese to make a casserole instead of a lasagna. Faster and easier.

Chai Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
I like the flavor of the cookies, but they burned on the bottom and got really crunchy even though I only baked them for 8 min. They taste like gingersnaps without the molasses. Next time I will lower the oven temp and replace half the white sugar with brown sugar. I'll let you know how it turns out. :)
