Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
I just finished making and eating this dish, and it is my new favorite comfort food! So easy, so yummy, I had everything on hand (except the sherry - just omitted it). Served over mashed potatoes with green beans. Really good!

Mom's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
This is sooo good! Tastes just like the coleslaw in my favorite lunch place! Just what I would expect coleslaw to taste like, being a New Englander.

Thai Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2013
This chicken is delicious! And easy! I took other reviewers' advice to use just OJ and omit the water, I used ginger powder as I don't usually buy fresh ginger, I added bell pepper and broccoli, and I served over angel hair pasta. YUM!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
This was so good and refreshing. I didn't make any changes really except to add a little lemon juice since I chopped the apples first, and I eyeballed the white sugar and brown sugar.

Sausage Stuffing Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
These were soooo good! Exactly what I expected. I used chicken broth instead of water because I had some to use up, and I didn't add celery (not a big fan). My house smelled like Thanksgiving! So Yummy!!!

Cool Summer Cucumber and Tomato Toss

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
This served as a good starter recipe. I made this for a BBQ I went to, but I added little mozzarella "pearls" and halved calamata olives. I also used grape tomatoes because I don't like the mess chopped tomatoes make. Good stuff!

Spinach Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
I made this soup over the weekend, and it was delicious! I tweaked it a little - I added maybe half the spinach (which was plenty), 4 cans of broth, twice the tortellini, some onion powder, sliced carrots (which I boiled separately as they tend to overpower with flavor) and cooked, sliced sweet Italian sausage. I'll be making this one often!

Detroit Hot Honey Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
These were so good! I made these for Super Bowl - I was putting out all the food and this dish was the first one out. When I sat down myself to eat, my boyfriend already had a pile of bones on his plate! Clean-up is tough though because of the sauce burnt in the pans.

Quick Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2013
This recipe is very easy and very tasty. The chicken was so tender. It actually took me longer to prepare than the recipe stated, but maybe that's just me. I cut back on the lemon juice and added garlic, personal preferences. My boyfriend loved it!

Whole Wheat Beer Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I am not a baker by any means, and even I can make this. I love it - a good hearty bread. My favorite way to serve it is cut in cubes with sour cream and onion dip at parties.

Pretzel Smoochies

Yummy, exactly what I expected. A little of a pain in the butt. Oven time should've been a tad longer I think in my oven. Didn't set up in 30 minutes either, refrigerated them.

Good, easy chicken recipe. I used chicken drum sticks as that is what I had. I will definitely make again.

Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
Good basic soup! I added a little soy sauce and some spinach that I needed to use up. I also used a cheap cut of beef that I had in the freezer, which surprisingly came out very tender.

White Chili VI

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
We really enjoyed this! I too used BLSL chicken breasts - maybe about 1 pound - and I used 2 15.5 oz cans of small white beans as that is what I had on hand. I'm thinking next time I will try it with more salsa. Very tasty as is though for something so easy!

Chicken a la King II

I really like this recipe - reminds me of my childhood, having lunch with my mom and sister. I omit the rice though and serve it over a slice of white bread like mom used to do!
