Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Loved the sauce. I served the meatballs over rice, and I too doubled the sauce as others recommended, and I added red pepper flakes. This sauce is definitely something I am going to try on chicken wings! *Update 6/20/13* I tried this sauce on chicken legs. Basted the legs with the sauce like a BBQ sauce...delicious!!!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Great and easy recipe! I use fresh chicken, 1 can of broth and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. I serve with crushed tortilla chips on top. Oh, and I am not a fan of Mexican food.

I love these mashed potatoes when I am serving to company. I use red bliss, so I don't have to peel them.

Broccoli and Onion Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I make this for holidays, and it always goes! I half the amount of cream cheese (maybe I am not using big enough bunches of broccoli). My mom especially likes it, and she is not a big broccoli fan.

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Great and easy soup! Italian Wedding is one of my faves. I left out the carrots and used ditalini pasta. Froze in portions for an easy lunch to bring to work.

Whole Wheat Beer Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I am not a baker by any means, and even I can make this. I love it - a good hearty bread. My favorite way to serve it is cut in cubes with sour cream and onion dip at parties.

Chicken a la King II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I really like this recipe - reminds me of my childhood, having lunch with my mom and sister. I omit the rice though and serve it over a slice of white bread like mom used to do!

Spinach Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
I made this soup over the weekend, and it was delicious! I tweaked it a little - I added maybe half the spinach (which was plenty), 4 cans of broth, twice the tortellini, some onion powder, sliced carrots (which I boiled separately as they tend to overpower with flavor) and cooked, sliced sweet Italian sausage. I'll be making this one often!

Mom's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
This is sooo good! Tastes just like the coleslaw in my favorite lunch place! Just what I would expect coleslaw to taste like, being a New Englander.

White Chili VI

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
We really enjoyed this! I too used BLSL chicken breasts - maybe about 1 pound - and I used 2 15.5 oz cans of small white beans as that is what I had on hand. I'm thinking next time I will try it with more salsa. Very tasty as is though for something so easy!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
This was so good and refreshing. I didn't make any changes really except to add a little lemon juice since I chopped the apples first, and I eyeballed the white sugar and brown sugar.

Cool Summer Cucumber and Tomato Toss

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
This served as a good starter recipe. I made this for a BBQ I went to, but I added little mozzarella "pearls" and halved calamata olives. I also used grape tomatoes because I don't like the mess chopped tomatoes make. Good stuff!

Bacon Jack Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
These were very good! A new comfort food for me. My BF said he didn't know what to think because there were little flavor explosions going off everywhere in his mouth - LOL! He's never said anything like that before! I took it as a compliment, as he ate the whole thing.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
Made this for dinner last night. I added thin sliced onions as some reviewers suggested, but don't think I will add them again. I also baked them in the oven, 350 degrees for 30ish minutes. There definitely wasn't a lot of sauce, but that was fine with me. My boyfriend prefers his pork chops plain, but complimented me on these. He said he didn't know if he was eating dinner or dessert, LOL! I served with Stove Top stuffing and green beans for an easy weeknight meal.

Sausage Stuffing Balls

These were soooo good! Exactly what I expected. I used chicken broth instead of water because I had some to use up, and I didn't add celery (not a big fan). My house smelled like Thanksgiving! So Yummy!!!
