Mock Filets

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
My husband is a very picky individual, and he said that this was one of the best meals I've ever made. I left out the dry mustard because I didn't have any, but it was moist and tasty. I'm going to use the ketchup, brown sugar combo on my meatloaf. Also very simple and quick. Four thumbs up.

Broccoli Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
Effortless and enjoyable. I had roasted garlic cream of mushroom, not the plain kind, and it had a great flavor. I'll be making it again. I also liked it because it's a lot healthier then a regular alfredo sauce. Feeding my family flavorful non fatty foods is something I try to do, but we like flavor more than healthy. This wouldn't be on my mother-in-laws diet, (she'd take out everything but the chicken and broc)but it'll do just fine in our home.

Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
Huge hit! Was just the right amount of sweetness, and not too difficult. I do agree with letting it sit for at least a day, otherwise the extract is a bit strong. Was voted to be a tradition, and so it will.

This was great because it was easy, tasty, and my husband raved. This is something I'll definitely make again. Two thumbs up.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
I would rate this a 6 if I could. This was by far the best thing I've made so far from this web site, and my husband agrees. It's not the healthiest meal out there, so it will be a special occasions dish. It's better then most meals we've ordered out, and we're food snobs. I paired it with some rice and fresh steamed broccoli, and the cheese sauce was awesome for dipping the broc into. It was pretty rich, so you can use a small piece of chicken, and not the full amount of cream cheese. The only thing I did different was use Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning instead of salt and pepper. That was used both to stuff the chicken, and in the sauce. Also, I didn't have chives, so had to leave that out. I can't say enough, how unbelievably gourmet good this was. We both woke up this morning, and said again, how good dinner was last night. That doesn't happen often. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I agree that this is a fairly plain recipe by itself, but the chicken comes out very juicy and tender, and there is tons of room for improvising. After reading reviews, I knew I needed to tweak it somewhere. So, I added some salsa to the mix, and then added some sour cream to thicken the sauce up at the very end. It came out great. Not too salty, or cheesy. Just the right amount of everything. I noticed my husband making nodding gestures throughout the meal. I'll definately make this again.

Blue Cheese Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
A++++ This will definitely be a staple at future parties. EVERYONE raved about this. I did double the amount of the shredded chicken, and used ranch in place of the blue cheese. My husband is not a fan, and it turns out a lot of other people aren't either. So, I'd recommend using ranch. Also, I didn't use butter after reading reviews. I used everything else to scale, and it was a good consistancy. I did also use the crock pot to keep it hot for the whole party. I served this with celery sticks (very popular), and fritos scoops. AWESOME!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!

Warm Blue Cheese Dip with Garlic and Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
This was AWESOME!! I did everything to scale, but I cheated and used already made bacon pieces. I did serve this with thin slices of green apples, and it was splendid. Do NOT tell people what is in it. Everyone was eating it until I told people was in it, and I guess all the high calorie ingredients instantly made people shy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Juicy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
Great flavor. I didn't follow the recipe completely, so I didn't want to be misleading and give a 5 (but my meal was a 4.75). I didn't have skewers, so I cubed the chicken, dusted lightly in flour, little salt & pepper, then browned in veg oil. Set that aside, then made the sauce & onions added some cubed zuccuni 1/2 through, and then threw the chicken back in when they were almost done. Served over Uncle Ben's 90 second rice, and added some crushed honey roasted peanuts. Quick, easy, and good.

Lemon-Curry Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
Very, very tasty. My husband and I both really enjoyed the flavor, felt it wasn't too heavy. Only reason I didn't rate it five stars is I felt hungry shortly after eating it. I made this dinner again, but left the chicken breast whole, served it over white rice, with a side of asparagus and then added the sauce and almonds. It's definitatley something I'll make again and again.

Bourbon Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
May or may not make it again. It was pretty good, not AWESOME though. I substituted minced onions for onion flakes, and I cubed the chicken before baking for 45 minutes. If I do it again, I'll bake for a half hour, and increase the time if needed. Bourbon wasn't overbearing, and it was sweet, but also not overbearing.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
I really enjoyed this. I didn't have any chilli sauce, so I improvised with ketchup, taco seasoning, and water. I'd give this recipe a 4.5 if I could just because I'd give it a 5, but didn't because my husband wasn't impressed. He said it was good, but doesn't want it again. I made it for dinner with some sides, but next time I'll make as an app for a party, and I KNOW it'll be a hit.

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
Not a fan. Very dry, noodles were burnt on the top, and don't want to serve it to my husband when he comes home from work. A waste of ingrediants, should have read the reviews and added more stuff to make it moist. I don't understand how this recipe got a 4 out of 5, when most of the reviews all say it's dry. I just saw 4 stars out of 200+ rates and figured it had to be good. Very disappointed.
