Original Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
I used cornflakes for this recipe, the problem i had was the crumbs would not stick to the chicken, just the ranch seasoning while the crumbs fell right off, so i rubbed some sour cream on to the chicken and all though it was very messy, the sour cream helped the crumbs stick better, this is a good recipe, but for me, i will need to find a better way to make the crumbs stick, i think the sour cream i tried also makes it very juicy and moist, so next time i make this i may add some sour cream again to help hold the crumbs

Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2012
I too was sick of standing at the stove forever making grilled cheeses for 5 people, took forever plus my skillets like to stick so they end up torn at times, so this worked great, the taste was even better when i did it in the oven, plus it has a crispiness to the sandwiches that i really liked, this is my new way to make grilled cheese sandwiches now, Thank you

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
Made this tonight, FANTASTIC! I browned the pork chops then put them in my slow cooker, sauteed the mushrooms in butter, poured them on top of chops, and added some milk and garlic powder to the soup, heated it and mixed well then poured that on top of the pork chops, came out great, made a very nice gravy for the pork chops and mashed potatoes, I will make this again, Thank You!

Taco Treat

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
I have just made something like these, I made a few changes to what I had, so it wouldnt be fair for me to say I have made this exact recipe. I used flour tortillas, almost a whole pack of cream cheese, maybe 1/2 pack of taco seasoning, I threw in some taco blend shredded cheese, came out good, just seemed a bit salty from the taco seasoning, but i also didnt use a full pack of cream cheese either, if i had then it may have not been to salty, my fault..i used picante sauce for dipping..It was good, jalepenos are a good idea but i didnt put any on since the kids were eating it too, Thanks for the recipe.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
This was Okay. I normally dont add milk to my meatloaf...I added eggs, bread pieces (didnt have crackers) bell pepper, garlic, onion powder, S&P, milk. I added ketchup/brown sugar on top, this was a good recipe, maybe needed a bit more flavor for me.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
Came out super soft and chewy and did I mention HUGE! I really liked these...I placed the dough in the freezer so they would firm up a bit before baking them, I baked them about 12 minutes maybe, somewhere around there, I took them out just about when the edges looked lightly brown and the centers didnt look quite done, that way they didnt over cook and become burned or crunchy, they will get firmer as they cool...my kids liked these alot, thank you!

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
What I did was cooked my steak in a skillet a few min. on each side then put in a baking dish in the oven around 425 for maybe 15-20 min. then used the broiler maybe 2 min per side...the meat was nicley cooked, wasnt dried out but i may have cooked it a bit to long in the skillet..im sure the grill would have been better as the recipe says to do..with the butter what i did was put some butter in a skillet, added onions and cooked til soft and lightly browned, then added a bit more butter and some garlic powder, didnt have garlic cloves..this all came out good..a bit on the unhealthy side though, so not something id make weekly, but once in a while is ok.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! This has to be one of the very best recipes i have ever done! We loved them except hubby, he doesnt care for chocolate. I think im going to be making these for Christmas in a few weeks and going to double the recipe, the only problem I really had was dipping the balls into the chocolate. Heres what I did, I took each cookie apart and put the filling in another bowl so that way when I crushed the cookies up they wouldnt get sticky from the filling, then i put the cookies on wax paper, then covered with another sheet and used a glass to crush, took a few minutes, then I put the crumbs in a bowl with the room temp. cream cheese and cookie filling, mixed real well then shaped into little balls and put on a cookiesheet lined with the paper and refrigerated for about an hour then took them out and dipped in the melted choc. it got kinda messy ay this point, Turns out i ended up using chopsticks to dip them in, a few of the balls tried falling apart, but nothing major, after all were dipped, placed them back in the fridge where they now sit with hardened chocolate and ooohh so DELICIOUS!!! Thank you!!
