Slow Cooker Broccoli Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2014
This was really good but salty and the sauce was not as thick as I would have liked. I used far free low sodium beef broth and low sodium soy sauce. Will definitely make it again.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
I made this recipe twice to make sure that I did not do anything wrong. I found it to be extremely dry and hard to mix (even when kneading it with my hands). Once out of the oven, it was a good bread.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
This bread was really great. I added a little bit of cinnamon and it had a wonderful flavor. Next time, I will probably add raisins to make a breakfast bread. Thanks for the recipe.

Derby Day Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
This was a really great chocolate chip cookie! However, I like the taste of Bourbon and it was not really that noticeable after baking. I will make this again but I will increase the amount of Bourbon next time to give it a kick.

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2013
This was such a good mint icecream recipe. I used mini chocolate chips which got kind of hard when frozen, I would probably chop the chocolate into small pieces next time, but I will make this again.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe and it was so easy to make. I dredged the chicken with the taco seasoning by placing the seasoning in a ziploc bag and coating the entire breast. Instead of Cheddar Cheese, I used the Mexican Cheese mix. We had this with Mexican Corn and white rice.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
This was a really great recipe. I took other reviewers advice and added light brown sugar to the cookie mixture and cinnamon to the icing.

Amaretto Divine

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I was really impressed with this cake because it was quick to make and everyone that ate it loved it. If you make this recipe make sure that you whip the heavy cream really well prior to mixing it with the pudding mix because the pudding mix seems to make the whipped cream a lot less stiff. Even though the recipe says that you should not ice the sides of the cake, I made extra whipped cream (instead of two cups, I used three) and mixed that in with the pudding mix so that I could ice the sides of the cake. However, if you use two cups of heavy cream you should have more than enough icing to ice the entire cake. I had so much left over that I made another batch of cake batter and made cupcakes so that I would not waste all of the extra icing. I had a problem drizzling the cake with chocolate, so I think next time I will skip that step since the cupcakes did not get drizzled in chocolate and they tasted great without it.

Biscotti Toscani

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
This Biscotti was fantastic! I did not have oranges to make orange zest, so I used orange extract instead and it tasted great. It got rave reviews and it was extremely easy to make. I also made a batch without toasted almonds for those who do not like nuts, and those came out great too! :)
