Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2014
I use this recipe all the time, as is, no changes. Everyone loves it and my brother-in-law, whose pretty hard to please, can't get enough when I make it. I'm even making it for Thanksgiving this year! Thank you so much for this keeper recipe.

BBQ Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I made these for my family last night. I followed Sande's review to a tee and they turned out to be the most tender, flavorful ribs I have ever made. Super simple too.

Caramelized-Onion Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
This recipe was so delicious!!! The pork was tender and juicy and the sweetness of the caramelized oinions were the "icing on the pork," so to say. I seasoned the pork with salt, pepper, garlic powder, marjoram and red pepper flakes. Served with jasmine rice and broc and cheese. Outstanding!!!

Zucchini 'Noodles'

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
Every year I seem to have a ton of zucchini left in my garden and have no idea how to use it up. It usually just goes bad and I feed it to the cows. But this recipe changed everything. It's DELICIOUS!!!! Sorry cows, this years zucchini is for me!! Thanks for sharing :) :)

Easy Southern Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
This was my first attempt at EVER making homemade biscuits and man was it ever a hit! I will keep this as my always "go to" biscuit recipe. The reason I gave it 4 stars was simply because next time, I will roll them out instead of making them in a muffin pan. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Easy Cold Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
we had a really bad storm last night and lost power right as I was preparing dinner. The only thing that was done was the angel hair pasta. So I went to the garden and got some cucumbers and tomatoes, fresh basil and thyme and a banana pepper. Mixed up this pasta salad recipe and it was delicious! Thank you!

Linguine Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
This was such a terrific tasting recipe. I wanted to make it a bit heartier so I added red and green peppers and some mushrooms. I cooked the veggies and shrimp separately and added some red pepper flakes then just added it to the tomatoes when they thickened. The tomatoes, wine and butter made such a tasty sauce. A keeper recipe! Thank you!

Grilled Zucchini and Squash

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
We make these all the time. I could eat squash with every meal. Instead of the butter we use light olive oil. Also, we don't put the squash in foil, we cut them in thick slices and just stick them right on the grill. I find that the foil steams them too much and they become a bit soggy. I like my veggies to still have a crunch!

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
I usually don't review a recipe that I tweak way beyond the original but this was such a great recipe I just had to. I grilled three ears of fresh corn till crisp tender. I sauteed the onion and red pepper in some olive oil till tender then added the corn. Used the juice and zest of one lime and added some red pepper flakes. Grilled the Tilapia for about 8 mins and added sour cream, tomatoes and some mexican mixed cheese. DELICIOUS! thank you!

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
This was really good and so simple to make. I used Italian bread crumbs for more flavor and added some panko for more crunch. I also added some hot sauce to the olive oil and garlic mix. I topped the chicken with the remaining bread crumbs and then put a pat of butter on each breast. The chicken came out so crunchy and tender. I served it with fresh green beans and honey roasted potatoes. A keeper, thank you!

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

this was ok. I used spaghetti noodles instead because that's what I had and added some red pepper flakes. I wish the sauce would have been a little thicker.
