Parmesan Cresent Rolls

This has been reviewed on the site too but isn't coming up. These are great little rolls and easy to make. They are not croissants so don't expect them to be flaky and light. They are dense little rolls full of wonderful butter and cheese flavor

This was absolutely wonderful. Just as good as I used to get at a local restaurant in San Francisco called Scott's. I had never attempted this before so I took some of the suggestions from other reviews and added clam juice and no water. My guest couldn't even believe I whipped it up in so little time. Very impressive and little work. Just make sure you have lots of napkins for the guest. I put in baby lobster tales and they were a bit of a challenge but worth it. Thank you for a great recipe.

This is incredibly easy and really tasty. I made it one night when I used my recipe spinner on my Iphone and it popped up. I was in the grocery store so I just grabbed everything. It was great! I did let it sit for a few hours to let the spices meld with the cream cheese. You can make it as lite as you want with non Works in oven or microwave.

Roasted Vegetables

I made this last night for a preview for Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. I did exactly what the recipe calls for except I didn't have the fresh thyme or rosemary, so I used dried and just condensed the amount appropriately (listed on the side of the spice container). It was great! I think I will use this in place of mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving to lighten up the meal and make more room for fresh vegetables. This is a wonderful healthy alternative to all of the fat.

Zippy Summer Shrimp

This was wonderful. I followed the recipe completely and it was great. This would be a wonderful appetizer as well! I did peal the shrimp for the main course, but I think for an appetizer I will keep the shells on and add a little more garlic and red pepper flakes for a zippier taste. It would be great served with a rustic french bread or a side of cheese garlic bread.

Parmesan Crescent Rolls

I am the one who submitted this recipe. I just wanted to say how incredibly easy this recipe is and it is foolproof. I have been making these for over twenty five years and they are always a big hit. They are relatively small made the way the recipe is written. If you would like you can make them larger just by dividing the dough circles by four or six. They are always well received and they freeze very easily. Both after you bake them or before. For before, just place them on a cookie sheet in the freezer. When frozen keep them in a plastic bag in the freezer and thaw them when ready to bake. Enjoy!!

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

I was really excited when I found this recipe, especially after reading the reviews. However I didn't care for it as much as I'd hoped. The fresh basil was over bearing, maybe next time I will try the dried basil and just garnish with the fresh. I didn't care for the basil floating around in it, the texture was off. The basic recipe is a good one, I have done it without the basil and it was great. I topped it with a grilled garlic butter and Parmesan baguette, it was fabulous.

German Potato Salad

I made this recipe for the first time with last minute guest coming. It was an easy throw together and tasted great. I did however use regular onion, a medium one chopped and I sauteed it in the bacon grease before continuing on. It was fabulous. My husband liked it best the next day chilled.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

I agree with some of the other reviews, I mixed the mozzarella in with everything else. I also added a little more garlic and pepper. It gave it a little more zest. I didn't have enough light mayonnaise so I substituted some light sour cream, and it was wonderful. Very similar to that in a restaurant, and really easy. Thanks for a sure fire recipe.

Broccoli Cheese Pie

This was great. I made it two weeks ago and my husband is asking for it again. The cheese in the crust is just great!! We used an extra sharp cheddar from England. I served this with barbecue pork steaks, a St. Louis tradition, and a salad. I also enjoyed it for lunch for a couple of days at work with carrot chips and ranch dressing. thanks again, great recipe!

Southern Pimento Cheese

My husband was raised in the south but never liked his mothers Pimento Cheese. My sons however asked for it every time we visited. I saw this recipe with the extra added kick and thought I might get my husbands approval for an easy appetizer. He loved it. It is just an easy dish to go along with the southern flair. We stuffed celery and had it with wheat thin wafers. Thanks for the recipe.
