Lemon Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
I made this recipe with some chicken breasts but omitted the bell pepper. It was delicious! Just a hint of the lemon flavor, was really nice but I may try it with just a touch more next time. Will be making again!

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
I made this for my boyfriend cause he loves teriyaki. I made it as written, marinated chicken for 2 hours and grilled it. He found it way too sweet. I liked it, but I felt like it needed a little something extra that I couldn't put my finger on. After reading over the reviews again I may try to add some ginger and see if that is what I needed.

Albino Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
I really liked this recipe but I did need to alter it as many others have said. After I tasted it with the recommended amount of garlic I found it to be to bland so I added a half teaspoon more garlic powder and some fresh ground pepper. I also put in about a cup and a half of fresh steamed broccoli and chopped chicken breast to make it a full meal.

Real Hummus

Really delicious hummus. I ended up having to add more liquid to get it to a nice texture but otherwise followed the recipe exactly.

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Amazing recipe. As per recommendations I made my own taco seasoning found on this site. Cut down a little on the chili powder and cumin and cooked it in a slow cooker. Most delicious burrito I've ever had. I didn't think they were too spicy so I might add back a little of the spices I withheld. But otherwise this is a winner.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Really great and easy recipe. Made this pot roast for my first time using a slow cooker. After reading some of the reviews I did make some changes that were recommended. I was cooking for 2 so I used a 2.5 pound pot roast, so instead of the full cooking time I cooked on high for 4 hours then low for 2. I used beef broth instead of water, and floured my meat before browning it. Everything tasted great and the sauce was a nice consistency. The only thing is that I forgot to trim the fat off so it was very fatty. Make sure you do that important step when cooking. Other then that the meat was very tender and the gravy was delicious.
