Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

THESE WORK IN THE SLOW COOKER TOO!!! These are awesome! Once you get them wrapped, put them in the slow cooker, sprinkle with the brown sugar & cook for approx. 4 hours.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

This was good, but not the "extreme" cake I was hoping for. The cake itself, without frosting was pretty average to me. I used whipped ganache for the layers and regular ganache for the top. The frosting deifinetely makes the cake. But on its own, not so much.

Burnt Brown Sugar Cake Sauce

I used the proportions of another recipe and this came out pretty good. 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup hot water. It was not as runny and thickened up a little more as it cooled.

Olive Pecan Spread

I've made this many times before and if you coarsely chop the olives either by hand or blender, it makes the texture even more pleasing. I also add a Tbsp of the olive juice to it too. I've used walnuts in place of pecans a couple times and still Awesome.

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

I too took the basic ingredients & went from there. In addition to the basic ingredients, I used approx. 1/3rd of a packet of dry Ranch dressing/dip mix. Tossed it with sauteed shrimp and it was AMAZING. Be sure to use good cheese, it will make or break this recipe

Key Lime Pie VII

Super easy & tastes great. I followed the advise of a previous poster & used a garlic press to juice the limes. My pie formed the little bubbles on top but did not actually "burst" but I baked for 10 minutes and it was perfect.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Amazing cookie! I use a little more almond flavor than recipe calls for, but that is just my taste. These go over great anywhere I take them. I've yet to meet someone who does not like them.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Very good recipe. I followed it exactly. I did not have 4 loaf pans, so I purchased the alluminum foil, disposible ones & the loaves I baked in those had to be baked slightly longer than the ones in the ones in my regular pans. But all turned out great.

Peanut Butter Bars I

These were very good and super easy. I good snack when it is too warm to turn the oven on. I was a little nervous after mixing up the base, as it said "pat" into pan, but my mix was too wet to "pat", so I smoothed it into the pan, put it in the refridgerator for a little bit & they set up fine.
