Excellent Bread - I made it by hand, put everything in a glass bowl and mixed it up, then kneaded for 25 minutes let rise and baked. A++

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
These are my families favorite. I add a cup of milk and then I add more to get it to the consistency I like, the rest I follow the recipe as is.

Spaghetti Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
My family like this very much, I thought it was delicious. I used 1 jar of Wegmans store brand Roased Garlic Pasta Sauce, a full pound of pasta, 13x9 baking dish and I used cottage cheese like the recipe said, probable used slightly more than a cup. I added a little Italian seasoning, but the jar sauce was very flavorfull and I would use it again. I baked it for 30 minutes at 350 than like five min after adding the mozzeralla cheese. It cut very nice and when tossed around on my plate to blend, it was like eating a really really good spagheti with meat sauce, the spagetti was cooked perfect. my bottom layer was not really crust like but we liked it that way, it had a real rich flavor, it was one of the best plates of spaghetti a ever ate, the cottage cheese gave it a subtle flavor that really made the dish. Will make again. under cook you spaghetii just before al dente.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Came out great, I prepared them in the morning and left them in the refrigerator before I cooked them at night. I fried them in a large deep fry pan about 1 min on each side and they were wonderfull. No problem with the cocunut staying on. I made a apricot dipping sauce. Will make again

Butterhorn Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I would not recommend these to anyone, and I have made homemade rolls before. 1 cup shorting!!!???? Maybe a killed the yeast when I mixed everything together.. Still I should have more sense when I added that 1 cup shorting in the recipe.

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
Awesome, I used a Pillsbury roll out pie crust, and a can of chicken broth to simmer the filling down. I also baked the bottom layer of pie crust on 425 degrees for 8 minutes while the filling was cooling. I let the filling cool before putting it in. It came out so good!, It tasted fantastic. I like to add a little ketchup to mine, I have been eating pot pie’s like that since I was a kid. Will make again…

Ham 'N' Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
I made this recipe and it was great, even my kids ate it. I used about 3 or 4 tablespoons or fresh minced onions because that is what I had. Great recipe to use when you have left over baked ham from the night before.
