Sandy's Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
Excellent casserole. Only changes I made was to add salt, pepper & a little onion powder to mixture in bowl and did not use sliced mushrooms, as I didn't have on hand. Baked casserole at 350' for 45 minutes covered with foil, then removed foil and baked another 15-20 minutes. I did not pre-cook macaroni at all & it came out absolutely perfect. After the first 45 minutes of baking I stirred casserole to mix up macaroni, as to not have any crunchy macaroni on top. This turned out fabulous and my entire family LOVED IT! Thanks for a great recipe.

Mexican Chicken I

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Fabulous recipe! Only addition was adding cheese to the top the last 5 minutes of cook time. I cooked at 350' for one hour and that was plenty of cook time. Wonderful flavor and super easy. Thanks for a great recipe.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Wonderful recipe! I browned/seared pork loins in pan prior to putting in crock pot. The smell while cooking all day was heavenly! When meat was done I transfered the sauce from crock pot to simmer pan. I added corn starch (dilluted in a little water) to simmer pan to thicken the sauce to more of a gravy consistency. The whole family absolutely loved this. Super flavorful and super tender. This one is a definite keeper. Thanks!

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Fabulous casserole! Everyone loves this one, even the kids. Only changes is that I seasoned the ground meat with salt, pepper, ground cumin and taco seasoning. I add a can of diced green chilies and used pinto beans (as I didn't have Ranch Style beans on hand). Turned out perfect! This is one of our favorite mexican casserole recipes - a definite keeper!!

Carrot Pineapple Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Absolutely amazing carrot cake!! I didn't use the nuts, as husband & daughter have nut allergy. Used an additional can of crushed pineapple instead. Added 1/2 tsp. nutmeg and 1/4 tsp. allspice. Needed a large cake so I baked 2 cakes (each one in a 9x13 pan). Then I stacked cakes on top of each other to make one very large and impressive cake. Tripled the frosting recipe. Tasted and looked fabulous!! Everyone always ask for seconds on this one!

Broccoli Casserole III

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
This is a delicious, simple and classic broccoli casserole recipe. First I cooked broccoli according to package directions and drained. I cubed velveeta cheese and mixed with cooked broccoli. Seasoned lightly with salt and pepper. Crushed a whole sleave of ritz crackers and mixed with melted butter. Sprinkled cracker/butter topping evenly over top of broccoli/cheese mixture and baked for approximately 25 minutes in 350' oven. Turned out absolutely fabulous!! Broccoli was tender, casserole was moist and very cheesy and cracker topping was outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. This is a definite crowd pleaser!

Quick And Easy Mexican Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Simple & delicious! I would definitely recommend this chicken dish. You can change the recipe up each time you make it just by using a different type/flavor of salsa. My husband and two daughters absolutely love this. I prepare the dish exactly as the recipe states - didn't have to make any changes. Thanks for a fantatic recipe!
