I can use all the burners and the "thingy" in the middle all at one time!
My favorite things to cook
Prime rib, Crab legs and anything on the grill. Meat and fire are the intergral parts of human existence.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Grilled meats like I made with my Father and southern soul cuisine that I learned from an ex-mother-in law. I can do a mean meat and two or three and I even know what to do with all the veggies!
My cooking triumphs
I literally can cook a Thanksgiving dinner with one hand tied behind my back. I proved this a couple years ago when I broke my arm three days before Thanksgiving and as usual was expecting a huge crowd for dinner.Even with a cast up to my elbow, I was able to pull it off and it all came out great. I did have to have some help getting it all in and out of the oven though!
My cooking tragedies
When I first moved out ouf my parent's house i offered to cook a fish for some friends that we had caught that afternoon< I had big plans to cook the whole fish stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese, celery, onions and croutons just like my dad, Unfortunately,it was a darn mullet with lots of bones. It never got finished cooking all the way through either so I wound up with a beautifull mushy mullett sushi and five very hungry dinner guests! They were complety grossed out but did attempt to eat it out of politeness. Yuck! We called pizza hut instead. The Lesson learned there is Pizza hut is always on speed dial
