We don't have "regular" television, so I have never watched this program (we unhooked the dish/antenna 6 years ago & have never looked back).  I do believe, however, that my day today may have made a good episode.  It all started at 5:30am,  where I cooked breakfast for a group of docs, and ended about an hour ago (6:30pm) - finishing the pm patient meal.  My PM hairnet lady cook had called in sick (for a nice 3-day weekend), so I got to cook the evening meal, which I normally enjoy, but not on a Friday where I had to prepare a board lunch, order groceies for Monday ect.......

So now I am enjoying a cold Amstel light, doing my best to hold off my 3 year old who is pretty determined to beat me at a game of candy land.  The Board lunch I set up/prepared/cleaned up was a keeper - had a nice bread & mozzarella salad with endive & a scratch honey vinegrette, a mixed grill of crab stuffed tilapia, salmon & mussels with a sweet Tai sauce (nothing better than coconut milk & red currey paste), toasted almond & coconut rice, sauteed zucchini with bok choy & red bell peppers & finished them off with a pound cake with berry/cherry sauce, heavy cream & a touch of triple sec.  These people don't know how good they've got it (ignore that comment Kelly).  I doubt if they accomplished much at their meeting, there was too much good food to eat.

Well I better head off to the candy land now - she's being as patient & I've had my beer to sustain the gumdrop swamp.

Those are some very lucky doctors!! i think I'm jealous, I can't even make myself a meal like that. Maybe one day. Thanks for the laughs!

What hospital do you work at???!!! I may get on a plane just to eat your food. Sounds delish!

Afraid I cannot devulge my specific location - this would likely put a bee in my ladies hairnets. I suffer enough as it is.

My cooking tragedies
I did set a char broiler on fire once (but that was on purpose, they needed a new one) & NEVER add liquid margarine to a chocolate fountain. Not a good idea.
