Creamy Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
This was pretty good, but I did things differently. I sauteed 4 thin chicken cutlets with garlic and onions, then made the cream sauce. I also had to add a LOT of seasoning as it was pretty bland; I used fresh parsley and a bit of tarragon and it made all the difference! A good basic recipe that needs to be jazzed up.

Peppered Green Beans

These were OK...the cider vinegar was not to my taste, but I liked the sauteed peppers and onions with the green beans and I added garlic too.

Lemon Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
I had to add chicken stock and more worcestershire. I had to put parmesan cheese also to cut the intensity. The only saving grace was that the chicken was tender, and the sauce was decent when mixed with the rice and with a lot of cheese mixed it.

Chicken In Sour Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
interesting concept. i used boneless chicken breasts instead of thighs and left out the dillweed. it was a little bland and not at all what i thought it would taste like, but it wasn't too bad. i probably won't make it again, it just didn't work for me.

Sweet Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
i was surprised that for so few ingredients, it really had some flavor. they were great. i added some worcestershire and chopped scallions to the meat mix. another trick is to put them on the grill and place a a metal bowl on top to steam...really makes it so moist.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
Very, very good. I used some jarred marinara sauce instead of ketchup and diced tomatoes. Very moist and had a nice tang. I sauteed some onions and garlic and added that too.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
I used that is inspiration. I marinated the chicken breasts in Romano Basil dressing, salt and pepper and lemon pepper seasoning. I sauteed the chicken in olive oil with garlic. Then I made the sauce with lemon juice, half and half and chicken stock, adding cornstarch as needed to thicken and dried oregano and Italian seasoning. I roasted a pan of veggies (cherry tomatoes, broccoli, red and green bell peppers) and threw that in with the pasta and sauce and topped with grated Pamesan and fresh basil. So delicious! I had rave reviews all around! I used whole wheat pasta which helped the sauce stick.

Excellent! Just like my grandma's recipe! I added a tad more salt and lot of fresh pepper. Make sure the pan is hot to get a good crust.
