Pie Crust III

I'd never made pie crust (or a pie for that matter) before so I was looking for a nice, simple recipe and this was perfect. It wasn't as tasty as some crusts but it was fine all the same. I'll be making this again.

Fudge Puddles

I love these! They were super easy and delicious. I did what a lot of people suggested and melted the chocolate in the measuring cup in the microwave. I ended up spooning it into the cups though, since the pouring was hard to control. Every time I've made this I've had leftover chocolate. I did what a lot of people suggested and put it in a dish in the fridge for a fudgy snack, but I also add coconut shavings to it for a little extra flavor.

Cheeseburger Soup I

I loved this. It was quick and easy and delicious, exactly what I wanted. The only change I made was, instead of the flour mixture, I added a can of cream of celery soup.

Sugar Cookies with Buttercream Frosting

I only made the cookies, partially because I don't have shortening and partially because I didn't want to risk the frosting with all the negative reviews I saw for it. Instead I used "Butter Icing for Sugar Cookies." I honestly wasn't planning on using any frosting but when I took a bite from the first batch of these it tasted like a sweet biscuit. Other people in my family said it tasted fine but it wasn't what I was looking for so I whipped up the frosting and they were great and much better the next day too. I'm definitely making these again.

Shepherd's Pie Daddy's Way

I wasn't expecting much from this recipe but my family and I absolutely loved it. This was the only shepherd's pie recipe I looked at that included cheese and I almost didn't include it because of that but it definitely made the dish. I didn't have slices so instead I grated about half a cup of cheddar. Next time I think it'll be closer to a cup. I also added veggies like most reviewers, just some onions and carrots cooked with the beef and then some corn. I cooked it in a casserole dish instead of a pan to avoid any spills. This was more trouble than I usually like to go to for dinner but it was worth it. I'll definitely be making it again.

Chicken Chimi in the Oven

My family loved this. We didn't have any garlic but it was fine without and I skipped the onion because my salsa had plenty in it already. I forgot to put the toothpicks in and so instead left them in the oven for ten minutes before turning only once so they were more set. I know at least one reviewer said they didn't like the beans because they made it soggy when reheated but I didn't have that problem at all and actually felt the beans made the leftovers. I'll definitely be making this again. Edit: I made this again recently with ground beef instead of chicken. (I skipped the food processor as well this time around though I don't think that made much difference.) They were delicious, better than the chicken version, I think.

Chewy Chocolate Cookies I

My family loves these cookies. The only changes I made were to half the chocolate chips (because the first time I made them I didn't have enough and after that it just stuck) and to roll the dough in powdered sugar before baking. The only problem with them is that they don't keep well, so they should be made at most a day or two prior to eating. (But really, how could you wait a day or two?)

Peanut Butter Loaf

I love this! I increased the peanut butter to about a cup and added chocolate chips, then made it into muffins (12, cooked for 20 min). It was delicious. I'm definitely saving this recipe.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

My whole family loves this recipe and this is now my standard cookie recipe. When we moved I made the classic chocolate chip cookies (from the back of the bag) and my family was so sad because they couldn't measure up to these. The only change I made was to use pecans instead of walnuts, but only because those are what we always have.
