Cranberry Brisket

I made this exactly according to the recipe. It was edible. Nothing special. I would not make it again. My friend made it in a crock pot and said the same thing.

Really good. I followed the recipe almost exactly. Watch out though because it is a pretty big pot of soup!

Asparagus Guacamole

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
This is a great recipe. It is amazing how much asparagus it takes to make a bowl full of guacamole. I totally faked out my 15 year old daughter, she had no idea it wasn't avocado. I might try adding some low fat sour cream next time. I used lime, cilantro, dried hot red pepper, diced tomato, chopped onion, and salt.

Butternut Squash Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
This recipe is great! I used 1/3 of it to make some delicious cinnamon rolls. I used one packet of yeast and brown sugar. I used butter and it seems that if you use margarine it might become greasy. Also, I quit counting the cups of flour at 8. It probably took 8-1/2 to 9 cups of flour. This is a huge batch of bread dough but very tasty. Thank you.

Prune and Olive Chicken

I used 7.5 pounds of boneless, skinless thighs and tripled the recipe. Baked it in two 9 x 12 pyrex dishes. We had 19 people. We also had a fish dish. Everyone that commented on the chicken loved it and went for seconds. Great dish.

Creamy Rice Pudding

I used 1/3 cup raisins and left out the butter. I used whole milk. Myself and my 14 year old daughter think it is very good. For us, it makes about 9 servings.
