I have either cooking or working in restaurants for 20 yrs. In May I will graduate with a degree in Restaurant Management/Food Service. I will forever be greatful to my husband and a general manager at a hotel I worked in who recommended I go to school to get my degree. I can't even begin to explain how much I have learned.
My favorite things to cook
I have the most fun when Husband and I start thinking about dinner and change our minds 50 times before we eat. Sometimes the road will be retraveled and other times we make sure to get off at another exit.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our families didn't really have any traditions, living in New England we aren't used to many spices. Thankfully my Step-Mom is Mexican and she introduced me to a whole new way of cooking that hubby and I have expanded on.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking tragedies
I am taking a course this semester that I am reall not ready for, but my advisor recommends that I take it and see what happens. I am learning tons of information, but not as much as I could if I had been better prepared.
