Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

My husband declared this recipe to be "man candy" and raved about the flavorful chops. We had larger than average chops, which took a bit longer to cook. A note about the sauce - I grew a little impatient while waiting for the sauce to reduce and whisked in 1 tsp flour to thicken up a bit. The sauce really makes the flavors of the lamb "pop," but I would suggest drizzling a little of the sauce on to serve and then pour over with a gravy boat for your own taste. Thanks for the great recipe!

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

The house will smell of garlic a bit after cooking this, but I agree with other reviewers - this is the only way I make mashed potatoes now!

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

This was definitely easy, but my husband declared that it was "sort of bland" and I agree. I think that if you spice this recipe up some and add some veggies it might be improved. I likely won't try this again.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Just made these for a party we were having and everyone raved about these cookies. Make sure to keep the remaining dough chilled in the fridge while rolling and cutting out the cookies. Also, keep a close eye on these while in the oven, when the edges just start to brown - take them out (if you like slightly chewy/moist cookies). To save time, just make the dough ahead and take out when you want some fresh baked holiday cookies.

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

Garlic Chicken

Excellent chicken recipe!I made it exactly as posted and wouldn't change a thing. Simple to make and I usually have all of the ingredients on hand. I agree with another reviewer who noted that any leftovers would be delicious over a cold salad the next day. My husband remarked that the garlic smell from the kitchen was "intense" but since we both love garlic we were pleased with the results.

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

Very good recipe! I used Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust instead of the frozen bread dough and I like the texture that you end up with. Other additions that I recommend would be a dash of garlic powder (to taste) and any other good additions to the filling that you have around (black olives, mushrooms, etc). Very good meal to pull together rather quickly when you want something filling and comforting.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Heaven

Just made these last night - what a rich and yummy cookie! I followed the advice of other reviewers and used 2 1/2 cups of flour, and 1 1/4 cups peanut butter - the texture turned out great.

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

I took a cue from a member review here and made the sauce from the "Chicken Cordon Bleu II" recipe and served the sauce with this recipe - a real treat! Don't be afraid of using as many toothpicks as needed to keep the cheese from oozing out - I was generous with the toothpicks and the cheese stayed in place.
