Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2012
This was very good, however, how it is listed ingredient wise could of been a bit easier if listed in order of tad bit dry, we used a 10x13 pan and baked at 350 for 25 min, maybe next time I'll add a lil more milk. Also since we love cinamon, we added some to the batter... we will make again!! Thank You!

Old-Fashioned Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
This was very good! My 12 yr old daughter made this for us tonight, she followed the recipe except when it came to the butter, she used fleischmann's original butter sticks, we have been trying to cut down on fat and calories. I only wished that it gave the nurtitional value with the recipe, however, We will def make this again. Loved the nutmeg flavor!!!

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
my picky kids loved this!!! I did make a few changes however.. but it still turned out great, here is what I did: I mixed the ricotta, 1 8oz package of itallian shredded cheese, 2 eggs, 1 tble spoon of dried parsley, 1 heaping tsp of minced garlic, salt, pepper, 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese and 3/4 jar of ragu spaghetti sauce (24 oz jar) mixed all that together.. then added half cooked rotini pasta. I mixed all that together. I then put some ragu in bottom of pan, (large one) and started adding spoonfulls of pasta/cheese mixture then added a layer of ragu, more pasta mixture, added a thin layer of ragu. then topped it off with the other 8 oz package of motz cheese.. cooked it covered with foil, for a half hour, uncovered and cooked 10 min more. served with garlic bread, and it was excellent!! will def make again!

Loose Meat on a Bun, Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2012
This was very good! tasted just like the "hurri burger" at The Bears Den in Shelbyville IN.... I served it up on a warm whole wheat bun and with melted american cheese on top... Perfect!! ok, so in addition to making this again, we are trying something differant, we used a lb of ground sirloin, and a lb of ground chuck, just trying to cut down on the fat content. then towards the end, when almost done, we add 1 package of cheese from a macaroni box, and 2 slices on kraft american cheese to the mix and let it melt and mix all together, it helped hold the meat together well and still has the great tast, also added 1 tst of crushed garlic... we like garlic and tried it tonight, and well it turned out even better than before!! we're now making this once a week!! per kids request!! lol =)

Buttermilk Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2012
This is soooo YUMMY!! by far, the best coleslaw I've had! I didn't have celery seed, so I used celery salt. After reading thru other reviews, some called for adding vinegar, I had cider vinegar on hand and added bout a tble spoon. That added just the perfect zip it needed! Will def make again!! Thanks for sharing!!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2012
This was pretty good. I've been looking for something differant other than how I usually make alfredo sauce which is with cream cheese, I thought this recipe was really rich, and tasted great! I used half n half instead of heavy whipping cream, and added some garlic powder and it turned out great. However, my family still prefers my "old way" of making alfredo sauce....
