Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
This pie is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness! I did what other reviewers suggested (2 tsp pumpkin spice and 2 tsp cinnamon instead of ginger and nutmeg...only because I needed my ginger for another dish). I also prebaked my pie crust. I whipped the mixture for about 10 minutes in my mixer. Made it really fluffy and heavenly. PURELY awesome.

Chocolate Waffles I

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
Really really really good. I doubled the recipe so we can have left overs for breakfast over the next few days. Kids already ate some for "lunch" today. I did not make the frosting and it was still so good. Thanks for sharing!

Banana Pancakes I

Really good! Used really really really ripe bananas and doubled the batch. I ran out of milk, so I used water instead. This recipe is just perfect, quick and easy.

Easy Pancakes

Great recipe, will make it again. Next time, though, I'll reduce the salt and add vanilla like other reviewers have done. Otherwise, it's a great recipe.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
Awesome! I decreased the chili powder and the red pepper a by little bit. I didn't want to make it too hot for my young children...they love tacos. Thanks for this fantastic recipe! Yet, another person who refuses to buy the packages! I will make a batch like other reviewers did.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
When I made this the first time (OH MY!!), it was soooooo good! Unfortunately for me, I had friends over--they ate every morsel, leaving nothing for me!! Okay, the first time...I used the crockpot. After much online research, I sauted the onions, celery and carrots, mushrooms and then added the flour and the chicken broth. Then I put this mix and the rest of the ingredients (except the half and half) in my crockpot on low for 8 hours (I added the half and half the last hour). I used a can of cooked wild rice soup, by the way. THIS is the way you do it if you want to use a crockpot. The second time I made this, per another poster's advice, I was lazy and put EVERYTHING in the crockpot for 8 hours (added the half and half the last hour). Bad idea! It was very watery, the carrots and the celery were hard (even after 8 hours!), and the soup was bland. Anyway, this is the BEST wild rice soup recipe ever! I will definitely make it again, the way I made it the first time. I just have to saute the veggies before crockpotting them. YUM!!!

Pineapple Zucchini Muffins

Great recipe. I used unsweetened applesauce instead of the oil (all of it). It turned out fantastic. Fluffy and moist. MMMMMMmmmmmm.

OH MY GOODNESS!! This is sooooo good. They came out moist and fluffy and oh, so delicious! To make it healthier,I substituted the oil with apple sauce with strawberries (I did not have the plain apple sauce). Yum!!! Yum!!! Yum!!!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
I made this last night. It gets high ratings for being so SIMPLE. It misses that last star because something was just missing. I'm not sure. I added red pepper (not too much, I've got a 5 and a 2 year old) and that made it better. But still... Maybe next time I'll saute an onion in the garlic and butter before adding the rest of the ingredients (that's how a friend of mine makes her scampi). Oh, and I kept the shrimp in the skillet, covered, for about 10 minutes (as opposed to putting in the oven).
