These were a big hit with the family...I for some reason wasn't entirely crazy about them...i thought it was too much bacon....I'm sure it was just me considering how EVERYONE else loved them...but i felt a little sick after eating a bunch...PS smaller jalapenos are more spicey than the larger ones so consider that when you buy the peppers =)

Red Skinned Potato Salad

I only had one issue....some of the potatoes weren't cooked enough...yes i probably should have checked better...but next time i'm going to bake them in the microwave....other than that i liked this recipe

Speedy Ice Cream

i was impressed, I didn't think icecream making was so easy and it turned out just as good as store baught....this would be something fun to do with kids or for a kids party.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

I can't find anything wrong with this recipe, I liked it and I don't normally like coconut (I'm currently pregnant and that's what posessed me to make it)... I toasted coconut on top and slivered almonds on top as well....WARNING....this recipe made 2 pies for me and i used the deep frozen pie crusts! that was the only reason why i didn't give it 5 stars cause if i hadn't of had that extra crust i would have tossed out half the mixture and that sucks.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Sorry this recipe has many flaws. Whenever I make a recipe for the first time I flollow it exactly then the second time I adjust it to my liking. This could be a good recipe but here is what happened to mine. 1. WAY too many apples (use 4 otherwise it'll turn into applesause like mine did). 2. Big burnt blobby mess! (mix the sause with the sliced apples before placing into pie crust) 3. Uncooked pastry dough on the bottom. (bake 20+ minutes longer) 4. missing cinnamon (add it to the sause before mixing with apples). Sorry Grandma Ople, next time I'll do better.

Bread Machine Rolls

It was great! When i go grocery shopping it's hard for me to find decent sandwich buns...either they are too hard or too doughy or they come in jumbo family pack value, or you only get 6 small ones in a package....but with this recipe it is just perfect. It makes 6 or 8 good sized buns and my fiance LOVES them too. I might changed it up every now and then like use whole wheat flour, or press some sesame seeds onto the tops of them, or add flaxseed, or what have you...but as is; it is great, thanx for the good recipe.

It was okay...it seemed more sweet than spicy. I've had better out of the store bought shakers. If I make this again I'll probably subsitute the chili powder with something else...???

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

I loved this recipe. They turned out nice and soft. The only change I made was I only put in 1 cup of chocolate chips because I thought that was plenty. The next time I make these i'm going to double the recipe because they seemed to go missing as I was baking them...(never let your family know that you are baking them)

Cinnamon Raisin Bread II

I'm not sure what some people did wrong but mine turned out perfect! I followed the original recipe but I did add an extra tsp of cinnamon. Mine didn't need extra flour but I did watch for it...it looked sticky and that it needed it but if you leave it alone and let it do it's thing it forms a ball and get's less sticky looking. The only problem I had was that it rose a little too much so next time I'll only put in just the 2 tsp's of yeast. But I think it's a great recipe and I'm definately going to make this one over and over again.
