Southern Grilled Barbecued Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
These were the best ribs I ever made! Plenty of sauce too! I did cook these entirely in the oven since it's been like 9 degrees here in Buffalo but they were so darn good I never missed the grill flavor. I can only imagine how much better these will be in the warmer months when I can stand outside & grill. Thank you for an outstanding recipe!

Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
Awesome side dish! I did use fresh broccoli instead of frozen since I had it & real cheddar cheese & used 1 cream of mushroom & 1 cream of chicken soup and also used leftover cooked cheddar rice I had on hand. Everyone loved it! I'll make this again & again for sure. Thank you :>)

Maria's Broccoli Rabe

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I always wanted to try broccoli rabe but wasn't sure how to make it until this recipe! I've made this twice so far and we love it! I use a shredded 4 cheese from tops (Parm, Romano, Asiago & Fontina) to top off this great side dish. I will definitely make this again :>)

First time I made this and I got rave reviews. I followed the recipe exact and was quite pleased with the result! Next time I would add even more flavors just to experiment with other meals. Thanks :>)

Broccoli Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
This was definitely healthy but I would double the wet ingredients next time since the broccoli really soaked it up! I brought this camping and it held up well.

Zucchini Jelly

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
I used up the last of the Zucchini from my garden yesterday with this delicious recipe. I did not need pectin like another poster recommended. I did boil the mixture for a good 45 minutes and I used less sugar (about a cup less) and it came out perfect! Also I did not peel the zucchini since they were not tough skinned. I will definitely put this recipe in my keeper box! I did use a box of strawberry & a box of lemon and I look forward to experimenting with more flavors next season :>) Thank you for this wonderful keeper!

Calico Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
I've made this recipe 3 times already and every bit is always gone. You really can't mess up this recipe & its so easy to substitute the ingredients. Great as a side dish or main meal with salads & bread & butter. I always prefry the bacon separate so its not soggy. A real crowd pleaser :>)

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
This is the best caramel corn I ever made! Everyone went nuts for it! Thank you for such a great recipe! It was so good that my daughter and I were eating it off the floor every time I stirred it and some fell out. Next time I'm making it in a huge turkey roaster!!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
We loved this recipe. Your going to need the biggest bowl in your cupboard because this makes a lot! I used a standard bread loaf pan and also 3 mini loaf pans which took 10 minutes less to bake. I only had 4 large bananas on hand and that was plenty for flavor. I also used dark chocolate chips since I was out of milk chocolate. Still excellent...there's something about the combination of bananas and chocolate that will make everyone want seconds. I imagine this would freeze well as well. Nice way to use those overripe bananas rather than toss them!

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This soup was very tasty! I followed directions pretty closely but made the mistake of mashing the potatoes too much for thickness! I prefer my potatoes in nice chunks as shown! I would definitely make this soup again. Thanks!

Grandma's Polish Perogies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2012
My daughter and I made this for the dough only since I had a special cheese blend I made and they were fabulous, especially for a few beginners! I had to cut the recipe in half because I only had enough filling for half and it divided perfectly! Definitely a keeper and I will use this recipe again. Looking forward to making the potato filling next :D

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
Excellent! I flipped mine over half way through cooking so they were nicely browned on both sides. Also helps to pound the breast out, especially if they're large so they cook more evenly and are tender. I also sprinkled the breasts with a seasoning blend before breading. This ones a keeper!

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Excellent change of pace in cooking pork chops. I browned the chops in a little olive oil before putting in the crockpot and also increased the chicken broth by a cup. Served with garlic mashed potato's! Excellent meal!

Loved these! I added about 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and used about 2 cups zucchini (squeezed dry) & they are excellent. This is a soft cookie but tastes delicious!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2009
Made this today & it was a big hit. I do agree with another reviewer that a 16 oz tub of whipped cream is too much. I used a 8oz and filled 2 crusts with no problem. Remember to leave it in the freezer though...we transported it and left it out too long and it was somewhat runny but delicious all the same. I used a graham cracker crust for one & a chocolate for the other but next time I'll try the Nutter Butter! Thanks for a easy, no fuss dessert!

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
This dip is always a hit when served! I serve mine in a hollowed out round country rye but insert a small bowl so I don't deal with soggy bread. This recipe is a keeper & a crowd pleaser!
