Best Hamburger Ever
This is very good - FULL of flavor! I did not use ANY salt or pepper (enough salt in the onion soup mix!) and I did not add garlic powder - I figured the garlic clove would be enough (and it was, for us). It is a little salty, but not overly so. I also cut up a red bell pepper and mixed it in for some nice color. I loved all the flavor! I was worried that my husband, who tends to like his food on the blander side, would think think these are too "herby," but he thought these were really good too! We will make these again. Thanks for the recipe, UNIVSTUDENT!

Creamy Spinach Soup
I love spinach, and with all the great reviews, I had to try this. And I was NOT disappointed! I - like many others - also used 1% milk in place of the half & half to cut down on fat and calories. I took the frozen spinach straight from the freezer and put it through my food processor with the grater attachment to get a finer spinach - and it was fantastic this way! It was a little thin, so I think next time (which may be as early as this week!) I will add a chopped potato and a grated carrot - as someone else suggested - to the spinach/stock mixture while it is simmering and then puree all that before I add the milk. Next time, to make this even more healthy, I think I will use low-sodium stock. I really enjoyed this - thanks so much for sharing the recipe!

Slow Cooker Homemade Beans
These taste very similar to the baked beans my mom used to make when we were kids - they're sweet, which I love! We made them ALMOST exactly as written...we sauteed the onions in the bacon grease and cooked the beans completely before we added the other ingredients and cooked. I think they were 5 star as is, but my husband thought it needed "something," so I think the next time I make them, which will be soon, I will try either apple juice or beer in place of the water. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!
