Easy Sugar Cookies

I had to come back and give this a review. This was a great recipe! I doubled the vanilla extract but that was the only change I made. It tastes great the original way but I prefer a stronger vanilla taste! Based off of your own oven the time between 8-10 minutes varies I think! I've seen a lot of 8 minute suggestions but 9 minutes worked best for my cookies! And it actually makes a HUGE difference. Ten minutes was too long, 8 minutes too short and still a bit undercooked, 9 was perfect for my gas oven. Happy baking and thanks for this recipe!

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Sweet, baby Jesus these were amazing! To say they were fantastic is an understatement... My family absolutely loved these. The first time I tried making them I must have read the ingredients wrong because I ended up with flat discs of still-yummy-goodness (though very crunchy). This batch was the absolute fluffiest concoction. I will take the advice of others next time and put the butter/garlic mixture on before and after. There's definitely enough in the original recipe to cover that, so making more of this is not necessary. I also used Bisquik as others did and this works just fine. Very simple and very fantastic!

All-Bran Big and Juicy 1/4-lb. Burgers

I made this tonight but didn't have the bran. I substituted it for Italian bread crumbs but kept the rest of the recipe the same. I loved the taste!! I'm a huge fan of Worcestershire so I may have doubled it... :3 The burger came out super tasty and I didn't need or want anything on it. I didn't even use hamburger buns. I gave it 4 stars only because I am not sure how it would have tasted otherwise with All-Bran

Taco Seasoning I

I was missing some of the seasonings required but made due with cajun and ground red pepper not the flakes.. It still tasted amazing. We love spicy and that's definitely what we got!

Cheese's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

I changed some things in mine to fit my Nana's recipe. We use the process of double boiling the cheese mixture and it turns out creamy and smooth but cooking on low heat in a pan did just fine and had less cleanup. We use velveeta for the cheese, no onion and cook the kielbasa with the macaroni which adds flavor. Instead of using bread crumbs we use crushed crackers and mix it with melted butter. This recipe is the closest one I've found to my Nana's. She goes by eye and skill which I lack. So putting numbers and quantities to the ingredients really helped me out!

Easy Meatloaf

This was my first time making meatloaf and the recipe made it very simple. It was very moist but too moist... Maybe it's my oven type, I'm not sure, but it took me an hour and 40 minutes just to cook it to where it wasn't pink... It was personally a little bland for me, but still tasty nevertheless. Doubling the ketchup like others had suggested I think made it not cook as well. It kept soaking into the meat and the top layer would not cook. I eventually scraped off the majority of the ketchup mixture to get it to cook thoroughly along with upping the temperature to 400 degrees.

Philly Cheese Steak

I loved this recipe, it was easy to make and my husband loved it! I'm the Philly Cheese Steak eater... but I'm glad I was able to convert him! Now there will be many more Philly nights.
